BSD Road Report: Wake Forest Commit Carson Desrosiers
I was able to make it out for the second time this year to see Carson Desrosiers as he took on Madison Park in the state semifinals. Central Catholic pulled out the 59-50 win to move on to the state finals as Desrosiers tallied 20 points, 20 rebounds and 9 blocks in the victory.
In the spirit of me getting to work tomorrow on time, I am going to let the video speak for itself. If anyone has any questions about how the game went, just leave them and I'll post more thoughts later. Enjoy.

Wake Forest @ GT Gamethread
Getting this up a bit late but if you feel like stopping by to talk about the game I'll be taking in the action.
Carson Desrosiers: Scouting Report
Last night I was able to make it out to watch future Wake Forest forward Carson Desrosiers as the Central Catholic Raiders took on Andover High School in Andover, Ma. In a game that was close until the end, Central Catholic downed my former high school 65-58. Carson put up 14 points, 17 rebounds, 7 assists, and by my count 6-7 blocks in the game. Desrosiers and teammate Jimmy Zenevitch powered the Raiders to victory in front of a hostile Andover crowd.
Click through to read some of my thoughts on Carson's game (and of course a video highlight).
NC State 59 Wake Forest 67
In the ACC opener for both teams, the Demon Deacons handled NC State, led by Ishmael Smith and Al-Farouq Aminu. Wake Forest held the lead for the vast majority of the game with the lead fluctuating from double digits to as close as four in the second half.
Wake Forest 80 UNC-Wilmington 69
Wake Forest traveled down the road to Wilmington, North Carolina to take on the Seahawks. This was definitely not the prettiest game Wake Forest has ever played but the Demon Deacons came away with an 11 point victory on the road with a couple of strong performances by the seniors.
Player of the Game
Huge win for the Deacons at Gonzaga. Time for your take, who was the player of the game tonight?
Wake Forest vs Baylor Game Thread
The first Saturday of college football just kicked off and there are some great games on tap this weekend. It's time for Demon Deacon and Baylor fans alike to get excited because game time is nearly three hours away. Our own WakeJake and MRickman will be at the game and are sure to stop by with their post-game thoughts but if you are like me, not going to be there for the opener, stop by and have some good discussion as the game goes on.

Wake Picks up Summers' Commitment
Wake Forest picked up a commitment from Colin Summers, an offensive lineman from Broughton High School in Raleigh. Colin is 6-4, 310 pounds and gives the Demon Deacons their third offensive lineman of the class. Colin possesses good size and strong academics with a 3.6 GPA in high school. He picked Wake Forest over offers from Duke, East Carolina and Elon. Be sure to check out his site http://www.colinsummersfootball.com/ to get some more information on the future Deacon.

David Glenn Chats With Aaron Curry
Aaron Curry sits down for an interview, I haven't had a chance to listen to it yet (as I am sitting in class) but I'm sure he's got some good things to say.
Chip Vaughn is the man. Go make some noise in the NFL hopefully for the Pats.
