Some one who knows where to look can you tell me about these two pitchers. What I would like to know is what round/number they were picked. What pitches they throw and the speed. I have looked at their stats but I would like to know more.

Yoon-Hee Nam & Matt Nevarz

So I dont know if this really qualifies for a post, but Max Ramirez is finally playing 1B tonight in the WBC for Venezuela instead of a late PH. In which he has a total of 5 ABs. I hate that Venezuela took him and has limited his at bats its stupid. It would be nice for him to constantly see big league pitchers and see what he could do. But I do love the WBC though and am going to LA for the finals.

Steroids and Society!!!

Its amazing the two face of society has about the role in which drugs play in life and baseball. Its funny that we embrace Josh Hamilton and his previous drug use and from what he has battled back from but then how we want blood and *asterik's for steroids in baseball. I think we should put an asterik next to the govenors name of California then. Don't get me wrong I'm happy that we have Hamilton, but if we support ones battle with ILLEGAL DRUGS shouldn't we forgive those that were not breaking any law at the time. I would be interested in what Hamilton thinks about this. Who is to say not everyone was juicing and that all players should be guilty by associations. Why isn't everyone forgiving A-Rod since he says he has quit and current drug test prove it and move on. I am not an A-Rod fan by any means. Plus all it says is that he tested positive. For what? I can remember when Creatine was creating such a big stir. How you could go into GNC and pull right of the counter T-bomb and other andro products which increases testosterone. Which I'm sure would trigger a banned substance. Plus who knows really how many pitchers were on the juice as well. How many more MPH can you get out of a fastball? After all of this said it still comes down to this. If your on the juice or not. YOU STILL HAVE TO HIT A 90-96 MPH FASTBALL. If you think hitting a low ninety fastball is easy I challenge you to go to batting cage and tell me how many you just make contact with out of 20. All in all move on.

4 Rangers selected

There were four Rangers selected in the ESPN battle of the budgets. A first round pick number 4 overall was Josh Hamilton. Ian Kinsler was the 20th pick. I honestly thought those would be the only two players picked. However Frankie Francisco was taken 48th overall. Chris Davis was taken 80th and Nelson Cruz was taken 88th overall. Plus what would of been pitchers Danks, Volquez and first baseman Gonzalez. But Hamilton and Volquez pretty much cancel each other. My question if you had a number one pick from an mlb roster would it be for a pitcher or hitter? Who would it be for? I would have to take P Tim Lincecum. Guess Im starving to see an ace in a Rangers uniform again.

Rangers Play Tonight!!!

Yes the Rangers do play tonight @ 7 on ESPN Classics. Its a match up between the 1994 California Angels(Lorraine) VS your Texas Rangers(Rogers). This game ranks number two in my all time games attended. My number three would have to be Byrds granny against the Yanks. The number one all time is Ryan express vs Robin Ventura the greatest game I have ever seen with the emotion and atmosphere at an all time high. The All-Star game at the BBPIA would also have to make it into my top 5. The lineup for the 1994 Rangers looked like this.

Davis RF

Rodriguez C

Canseco DH

Clark 1B

Gonzalez LF

Palmer 3B

Greer Cf

Lee 2B

Beltre SS

Rogers P

What is the greatest Rangers Game you attended?

If You Were a Rangers Scout

So lets say JD picks you from a crowd and says you are the new Head Scout for the Texas Rangers. He tells you that he wants you to scout three pitchers from his list and for you to pick anyone in the Rangers organization either pitcher or hitter that you believe could be a big sleeper. In his report for pitchers he wants, the pitches thrown, the grade for those pitches plus the MPH, what do you see the ceiling being for the prospect, when can he be MLB ready? Make sure you print off your comments so in future years you can brag about how you told everyone he would be an ace and were willing to put your reputation on the line.

LIST: PITCHERS

Kasey Kiker

Neftali Feliz

Derek Holland

Blake Beavan

Michael Main
