Long time Oakland Raiders fan from the late 60 and 70s. Blanda, Bilentikoff, Davidson, Wells and Stabler were my favorites from that era. Miss Al dearly but I think Reggie McKenzie will get things turned around once he addresses a few lingering issues from his first foray into General Manager hell.

Glad to find a site that doesn't treat the Raiders like Madden football and the posts look like grown-ups having a conversation. Helps that comments aren't deleted unless actually derogatory as opposed to simply unfavorable to the writer.

Back to the Future: Raiders Style

If you listened to Big Reg talk after the draft, he kept emphasizing how we wanted to get bigger all around. After looking at what's happened during the off-season, it's obvious that we've done...

GMs are from Mars, Fans are from Venus

It's Day One of Free Agency and just like the last 12 years, if you're a Raider's fan, you can feel the God of War align with Uranus. That's not a war cry, BTW. It's the manic-depressive time of...

Rebuild: Hypothetically speaking.

It's the dead time between Years 2 and 3 of the rebuild. There's no sense in pretending to compile a report card. I don't think anyone, inside or outside, the organization has a true sense of how...

Is there a Coaching Problem and ,if so, is it fixable?

After 15 hours of singing the postgame blues, I decided it's time to take another look at the game. First positive was that we played to within 7 against a winning team with a short week....

The Pryortown-Reggie Mckenzie-One Feather-One Run-One Finger Ball Washers Club

Lately I've started crashing boards bitching about the bitching. I want to apologize to Silverandblackpride for that and to members I may have offended with recent comments. Moving forward, I've...

Put the Dolls down

Next week we go Philly with a real chance to be at. 500 at the midway point of the season. TP has already ready reached that point being 3-3. I'll take .500 for the midway point of Kafkaesque...

Can't be disappointed with a Win

I've been saying all week that the Jax game reminded me of last year's meeting with the Jags and the team coming off a strong performance against Atlanta. Much was revealed in that game as the team...

No "Gimmes" for this team.

The one constant for the season thus far has been the fact that there are no "gimmes" for the team, coming off a 4-12 season. Steve Austin, from Seattle, has found himself behind a clipboard...

What's Really Going On??????

I missed the game last night but according to reports Pryor failed to solidify a starting job. Which means that Indy might be facing a 2 game veteran as opposed to a one game veteran. That wasn't...
