Went to the Triple A All-Star "Fan Fest" yesterday. It was pretty much underwhelming. Just by the turn out - there is no way Portland will ever get a MLB Franchise. But all was not lost, I was able to snag this autograph, one that will rank at the top. Not only is Dale Murphy just huge - but he is the most gracious guy in person. At first I wasn't going to wait in line 2 hours to get his autograph. But he was signing some as he was trying to leave, someone was trying to wisk him off. And he told the handler to just wait a minute. He wasn't about to leave without signing every single autograph in front of him. I'll be at media day on Tuesday. Though I might not get to attend the actual game.
