I've been lurking for a couple of weeks. I grew up in KC just a short drive from the stadium. I cried in 1978.</p><p>I haven't lived in KC for a long a time. Finding RR feels like I've come in from the cold. I finally have a place to discuss (and obsess about) the Royals. This group seems like a really good bunch of knowledgeable and nice fans.</p><p>Also, I have an extra ticket (maybe even two) to the Royals games at Yankee Stadium next weekend. I'd love to share (gratis, of course) with a Royals fan. Send me an e-mail if you're in the area and would like the ticket. Even if Yankee stadium is its own special brand of torture for us, misery is best digested when shared.</p>
