Call it the Year of the Danny in the NFL. First, New England running back Danny Woodhead becomes everyone's favorite little guy, and now Rams receiver-return man Danny Amendola is following suit. The 5-11, 186-pound Amendola had a key 84-yard non-scoring kickoff return for St. Louis, and chipped in with a team-high eight catches for 53 yards in the Rams' eight-point conquest of San Francisco. Quincy Butler may actually be helpful vs. Saints

No Love for Our Danny Just Yet

Due to the Patriots' stranglehold on national media, Danny Woodhead gets all the attention for toughness. But, your time is coming, Danny Amendola, and we're rooting for you all the way.

Positives from the 49's Game

Hello Rams fans.  I hope you are all well.  Yes, yesterday's loss stung similar to Tampa Bay's (and Oakland's... and Arizona's).  My immediate reaction during the 4th quarter surge by the 49's was...

You can't operate in this game with two, three healthy wideouts. It puts extreme limitations on what you can do. The Rams have between now and Nov. 14 at San Francisco to address the issue. They should move Greg Mathews up from the practice squad, bring back Brooks Foster or Keenan Burton, or cull someone from a practice squad. We've mentioned Juaquin Iglesias; he caught a lot of passes from Sam Bradford at Oklahoma and was a 3rd-round pick of the Bears in 2009. He's currently on Chicago's practice squad.

Rams continue to Surge in 30-plus club

Very cool stat by Mike Sando. The Rams don't have exactly a vertical offense, but they are getting big plays. Hopefully when the TE's get healthier they can increase even more.
