Born in Rexburg, ID, raised on Camano Island, a UW Grad, and now a Denver transplant, Randall recently graduated from law school at the University of Denver. He officially became an attorney in December of 2013, and now officially qualifies as the Dawgpound "legal expert." Ask him any legal questions and he'll give you a qualified answers like "it depends," or "maybe." However, those answers will co$t you ...

Gangline Recap: Week 1

It was a mediocre week at best this week, what with the Beavs getting beat at home by the High Flying Eagles of Eastern Washington.

Op-Ed: Can the NCAA get it right?

Most of you already know about Johnny Manziel’s half game suspension for Texas A&M’s season opener against Rice. It came in the wake of an autograph caper. Manziel was caught signing a whole...

Game Preview: Boise State at Washington

Well, it's that time again. A time for laughing, for reminiscing about past seasons; a time to make fun of past coaches, and the Duck. But, most important, it's time for Husky Football. We've got...

The NCAA is at it again ...

I know there are rules, but when you get to the bottom of it all, you have to ask yourself: what’s the rule supposed to do? In this case, I have no clue. But hey, I figured out a good rule of...

Evan Zeger to Transfer

Just a redshirt freshman, Zeger was apparently unhappy with the amount of playing time he was getting. We wish him the best.

Husky Stadium Update

Lookout! We have a stadium on our hands!

Weekly Debate: What Say You of the New Name?

Who woulda thought something as profound as "College Football Playoff" could become the new name. I sure didn't. Finally, after months of deliberation, using a dynamic set of naming criteria, the...

The Name of the New College Football 4 Team Playoff is ...

Drumroll everyone!!!! A source says the playoff that will replace the current BCS system will be call the "College Football Playoff." I'm really glad the guys upstairs are doing their homework, and placing themselves on the cutting edge. I suppose this works, since it's supposed to represent a playoff that, theoretically, any of the 120 FBS could qualify for ... But seriously, that's the best they could come up with? Talk about anti-climactic. If I was going to name something that was supposed to revolutionize the way the entire country saw the spectacle that is college football, it most certainly wouldn't be the "College Football Playoff." No. I'd prefer something like "The Gauntlet," or maybe even "The College Pigskin Classic." But I digress, a little.

Husky Spring Preview: Special Teams

Who would have thought that last year Cody Bruns would have some of the most electric returns on the team. It surely wasn't me. Who's going to fill his shoes this year? Oh ... and will the real...

Vegas Bowl preview: Dawgs vs. Broncos

Viva Las Vegas Dawgfans. The Bronco's have had a less than awesome season, just like the Huskies. Maybe you fans who aren't sure about the Huskies coming away with a solid victory tomorrow can find...

Game preview: UW @ WSU

The Huskies look to make this four in a row. Let's hope it happens without the usual dose of Mylanta.

Gangline recap week 12

Oregon forgot how to score, Washington State still looks like the apocalypse, and the Bears might have actually died ... did I mention that Jim Mora should win coach of the year? I can't help but...

Visual Diary: UW at CU

I had been looking forward to this game ever since I found out CU would be joining the Pac-12. That's roughly two years. We got our tickets on stubhub, and luckily for us, we weren't disappointed...

Game preview: Washington at Colorado

The Huskies are riding a three game winning streak coming into this game, and the Buffs are riding a six game losing streak. Can the Huskies make it seven wins on the season heading into the Apple...

Gangline recap week 11: Can Oregon run the table?

The gangline went .500 this week for the first time this season. If only the Cougs were able to keep UCLA closer, they might have actually pulled off the upset ... they didn't.

Game Preview: Utah at Washington

Both of these teams are riding a two game winning streak, and both of these teams could use some momentum. The Dawgs have been significantly different on the road than at home, and so have the Utes.

Gangline Recap Week 10 ... why couldn't LSU win???

This was just the third time this season the Gangline's record has been .500 or less. It was due to the fact that it went 2-4 in games that mattered ...

Game Preview: UW at Cal ... which teams will show?

Both of these teams have been bi-polar this year. The Dawgs are great at home, and suck on the road. The Bears on the other hand have been both great and sucky on the road and at home. If both...

Keenan Allen out for game this Friday against UW

This is a crippling blow to the already demoralized Cal Golden Bears, but Keenan Allen has a PCL tear.

Could Jermaine Kearse see his first Action as a Pro this week?

The Seahawks recently had a slew of injuries at wide receiver, and that position is getting dangerously thin at this point. Braylon Edwards was inactive on Sunday after his knee swelled...

Gangline Recap Week 9: Where did USC go?

The South Division is having some serious mood swings ... much like a 14 year old girl.

Game Preview: Oregon State at Washington

The Number 7 Beavers are coming to town, hoping to extend their perfect season. How much more punishment the Beavers can take is taken up by lots of speculation. They play football for 12 straight...

The writing's not on the wall yet

The writing will come after this game. How that writing will turn out is completely up to Sark. What is it going to say? We'll all find out soon enough.

Pac-12 makes move in conference rankings - Pac-12 Blog - ESPN

The gap between the Pac12 and Big12 is getting smaller, and that's a good thing for us. If we want somebody to represent the conference this year in the National Championship, we're going to NEED to be better than all the other conferences not named the SEC.

Gangnam Rap Week 8 ... with Style ... just kidding

With an all-around good showing, the gangline this week deserves a round of applause. I thought SDSU should have lost to Nevada, and that Portland State was going to get creamed by Cal Poly ... I...

Game Preview: UW at Arizona

A solid Washington defense is going to have its work cut out for itself, trying to keep Arizona off the field, and out of the endzone. This should be the game our offense decides to break out of...

Gangline Recap Week 7: Still 2 Undefeated Teams???

You have to wonder when Oregon State will finally be the favorite to win a game ... seeing as this is the second week in a row they are ranked in the top ten. Last week they were 5 point dogs...

Game Preview: USC at Washington

Saturday, October 13, at 4 pm Pacific Time, the Trojans come to Seattle. It will be a game to remember. Expect to see some serious pass-rush, and some big passing numbers as USC takes on the...

NCAA upholds ruling on Boise State Broncos scholarship sanctions - ESPN

Their scholarships are going to be reduced from 85 to 82 for the next two academic years. The infractions case focused on a series of violations involving more than 75 athletes and several men's and women's teams over a five-year period. Violations ranged from recruiting infractions to impermissible transportation and lodging, and prompted the departure of longtime athletic director Gene Bleymaier.

Beano Cook, ESPN commentator and the 'cardinal of college football', dies - ESPN

I loved listening to Beano. The guy knew his stuff, and was really a quality guy. He will really be missed.
