My first live Bulls game.
I am sure its not a big deal to most people here but I purchased tickets to the Nov. 24th Bulls/Jazz game. This is the first time I have been in position to buy tickets both financially and form a ticket availability stand point. I was a broke college student during the 97 and 98 finals here in Utah.
So let the excitment begin. DRose vrs DWil. Can't wait to see it all live.
Hurt big men
It appears Spencer Hawes, a guy some bulls fans wanted to draft, is having arthroscopic surgery on his left knee.

Meanwhile Eddie Curry hurt his shoulder in training camp but does not require surgery at this time.

Even though the Bulls gain no advantage (as far as draft position) there is a part of me still cheering for the Knicks demise.

Update:"he's had at least four procedures, including at least two scopes on the left knee — he could be out longer." link above quote
The Bucks Sign Yi
The pick I favored for the Bulls in this years draft finally signed today. I am sure if he flops there will be no shortage of people to remind me. But since isn't a Bull and not likely to be one, I don't give a damn. Either way I stand by the things I say and I think he has a chance to be a decent NBA player. Atleast better than Spencer Hawes. No word yet on whether steel chairs around the league are frightened by the news.

Hollinger rates the draft!
Ran acorss this article on ESPN Insider.
Hollinger basically rates the potential draftee's by the college production. It was a good read then I hit something that caught my eye.
Acie Law and Spencer Hawes are best to be avoided. Both are viewed as late-lottery picks, but they look like solid second-rounders from here. Hawes has an unimpressive rebound rate, which is a huge red flag considering he was bigger than everyone he played against. And for all the talk of his great post skills, he had a run-of-the-mill 55.0 true shooting percentage and didn't even have the best PER on his mediocre team (that belonged to Jon Brockman). A lot of folks think he can become a quality pro post player; based on his numbers, I just don't see it. Apparently neither made it to the top 20 based on the numbers.Showing 1 - 4 of 4
