So what's up with my OCD for VC?
As a huge VC fan, even at this point (well, not so much at this point but you get the idea), a basketball fan might wonder what's going on with it. As a person of high importance on this blog, you know, a MR. ORNG kind of importance to the Suns team (basically none), I need to explain what's going on. Because, you know, people won't be able to sleep at night thinking "oh man, why is Raptorel a fan of VC???".
Yeah right, I'm kidding. Was the explanation really necessary? Whatever.
So anyway, what's going on?

I asked Lebron for a dollar but he gave me 75 cents apparently he doesn't have a 4th quarter.

One of Vince Carter's greatest games
Why so sad, LeBron?

Vince playing in pain
"It is hard (for Vince Carter). First of all, he's not the youngest right now. Trust me, I know how I feel playing 30 minutes a game. I can only imagine how he feels being 34, 35 years old and having problems with the knees and different joints and now after each game he has to recover and try to get his body right. It's not really easy. Vince is Vince, he's still going to bring it.
"I believe he's a guy going to score for us in the most important moment but he's in pain. That's all I can say right now. I know him for a little bit and he doesn't feel comfortable you know. If he doesn't really want to talk to you in the morning that means he got problem with body, you know. When he's going to be healthy, he's going to be very good."
Troy "Escalade" Jackson, dead
Troy "Escalade" Jackson, the larger-than-life streetball legend and younger brother of former NBA player Mark Jackson, died in his sleep early yesterday morning. The 6-foot-10, 400-pound Jackson, 35, was in Los Angeles for NBA All-Star Weekend. The cause of death is unknown pending an autopsy. Jackson, a Jamaica, Queens native, played collegiate basketball at Louisville, but became one of the most famous streetball players of all time with the And 1 Mixtape Tour, a traveling basketball exhibition he joined in 2002. He also traveled for two years with the Harlem Globetrotters and most recently he competed with the Ball Up streetball team. New York Post

My evaluation of MP and Marcin
I've had about 1 year and a month to watch these two guys play so I'm not sure how insightful this thing I'm about to write is, but hey, I'll try to shed some light on what to expect from these two players the Phoenix Suns traded for.
Obviously, the most important piece is Marcin Gortat since he's considered the (former) best back-up center in the NBA. And if you look around the NBA, there aren't good quality STARTING centers, let alone back-up centers. With MP the Suns fans expect someone that can run-n-gun and I think that fits well with the description of the frenchman.

The truth about Vince Carter
In my time as a VC fan over the years, a lot has been said about one who, at one point, was "the New Jordan". Getting over the cliche, Vince, to me, is unique. His play and personality doesn't resemble anybody I can think of in NBA history. More about that after the jump.

How to resolve the "one star trade value in NBA 2k11"
I have RESOLVED THE BUG!!!
The only way to resolve the bug without getting the patch is to edit the player and save the changes.
Try this: when you have all your players at one star (the bug occurs), enter the roster management, choose one player and choose edit player. Once you're in the edit player mode, just save the changes without changing anything.
Go back to the trade screen and see your player's real trade value OK again! You need to do this to the players you want to trade etc, and it works.
You can thank me later
