Hilarious. Our bottom four players are (were?) all starters. Very encouraging numbers on AR. I think he's earned his shot to take Darko's spot in the rotation.
.....but the main problem of Roma had a name: Ricky Rubio.

The Channing Frye Debacle
Up until he joined Phoenix, Channing Frye was a soft big man that was good for.....well, not a whole lot. However, Phoenix discovered that Frye has a 3-point shot and he has transformed himself into a 3-point shooting specialist. It's been well documented how he has tortured the Wolves with his exploits over the past two seasons. Well, he was at it again last night, tying his career high with 7 3-pointers. Below the jump is a break down of the defensive lapses that led to this debacle for the Wolves.

Big Baby Davis and Kevin Love
I hope when Kurt and Kevin went to go watch that Laker-Celtics game that Love paid very close attention to Big Baby Davis. Here is a guy that came into the NBA in terrible condition and suboptimal length. Fast forward to this year's playoffs and we see a player that is in way better condition that leaves every ounce of energy on the floor. He has become a difference maker in the playoffs as a result. Kevin Love is blessed with way more natural ability than Davis and is clearly the better player. My point is that if Big Baby Davis was able to turn himself into this kind of presence off the bench for the Celtics, imagine what kind of serious damage Love could do if he maximized his physical conditioning and went balls-out in terms of effort. We're talking the Manu Ginobilli of bigs. Thoughts?
Gerald Wallace
Is there a way to extract this guy from Charlotte? They are hurting for youth and will stagnate as a fringe playoff/low lotto team if they don't do something. Wallace turns 28 this summer, so I think he has four or five very good years ahead of him still. Plus he would thrive in a running game and fill the combo forward position that Gomes will likely be vacating this offseason. Our defense would instantly be upgraded and offensively he's turned into a plus as well. I'm interested in others' takes on Wallace and potential trade ideas. I think between our picks, young assets, and cap room, there are a bunch of different things we could potentially propose to Charlotte to get this guy. Thoughts? Ideas?
Flynn's preseason vs. other 1st round PGs
I was interested to see how Flynn performed in the preseason compared to his other first round PG peers. I looked at these stats on a per 35 minute basis: FG%, FTM, 3PTM, Assts, Asst/To, PPG. Not the most comprehensive analysis ever, but hey, it's just the preseason. The guards I measured: Evans, Flynn, Curry, Jennings, Holiday, Lawson, Teague, Maynor, Collison, Beabois, Douglas. Here are the highlights:
