Bernard Pollard is a Beast!

I knew that Pollard would knock someone out in the AFC Championship game. I just did not know who. His hit on Ridgely could not have come at a better time. Pollard does not just make good hits but he makes came changing hit. When it comes to hitting, he is like a modern day Ronnie Lott. I think I will get a Pollard jersey for the Superbowl. Anybody know of a good store that has his jersey? Go Ravens!!!

You'll Have to Be Crazy to Sit Ed Reed and Ray Lewis Down

Ed Reed and Ray Lewis proved that they can be difference makers yesterday in the win over the Texans. I take that back. These two players have nothing to prove at all. Mike Preston suggested that it may be time to consider benching these guys in one of his recent past articles for the Baltimore Sun. Here is my take on it:

Benching these two players right now would be like benching Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen in the 4th quarter of a Chicago Bulls Championship game. It would be totally asinine.

As far at the Texans game, the secondary was outstanding. Getting 3 ints with little pressure on the quarterback was impressive. Both defensive and offensive lines will need to play much better against the Patriots however.

Ravens Prepare to Fly through Black Hole

After a losing a poorly played game that they should have won to the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Baltimore Ravens prepare to fly through the Black hole to play the Oakland Raiders. Last time I remember playing in Oakland, we won the AFC Championship and then went on to win the Superbowl in 2000. Look for a much more inspired Ravens team with far less stupid penalties.

My prediction is Baltimore Ravens 24 Oakland Raiders 17

Ray Rice is the Man!

After a monster game against the Detroit Lions, it will be very interesting to see what Rice does this week against the Chicago Bears. I think Ray Rice will have another awesome performance and the Ravens will win by at least 7 points. It will be a very good game to watch. Note: The Ravens have the 3rd best record at home in the NFL since 2000.
