Knicks Team, Assemble.
Afternoon, brothers. I figured for clarity's sake that I would summarize the perceived end (according to Donnie) of the Knick's march through that Free Aqency quagmire of 2010. If I repeat some of what you guys have already mentioned in the other fanposts (which I know that I am going to) it is not theft, it is a tribute to your ingenuity. Walker for the slam...

Mikhail Torrance
this is the guy i want to see come to NY via the draft above anyone else. Snag him, brackins, and a lowrisk/high upside player like varnado...this draft was a gold mine.
The Horror
This just in: Danny Ferry resigned today as Cavs GM. No one was surprised or cared, for this was the result of catering to the whims of a madman. Think Dennis Hopper in Speed. No, I will not list the source. That is all.
The Future...Today!
The NYK are in a position that they haven't been in for far too long. The value of cap space in today's NBA is undoubtable as well as immeasurable. With so many options, there are naturally so many more ideas being thrown out into suggestion traffic, spawning from overpaid professionals (cough) like Chris Broussard (not even going to look up his name spelling) to 20-something enthusiastic hacks like myself. This post is inspired by the unabashed hopefulness of cool cats like viva-morrison and ny knickerbocker, as well as the disgusting relentlessness of ESPN and other media outlets to drool over Lebron whenever he gets up in the morning (FA summit? LBJ on Larry King? Give me a break). Fortunately, the latter will only last for another 30 days or so, while the hope will live on as long as they are playing ball in NYC.
Anyway, let's go for a walk.

The NBA Times
Just caught this article on espn.com. Don't know how you guys feel about the Simmonster, but he made some excellent points about the potential lockout, salary dumping, and season ticket holders in this eye-opening article. Also, some of his suggestions aren't all that bad, if not a bit ridiculous. He even mentions the Knicks a few times. Enjoy if you've got some minutes to spare.

Iverson Out, Lee IN
Just heard this on ESPN. Iverson staying with sick daughter, leaving a vacant spot on the Eastern All-Star squad to be filled by our very own David Lee. Would have liked to have seen Lee get the votes, but even so, this is a very nice boost to NY, considering the turmoil that the Knicks continue to tunnel through. Can anyone substantiate this further though, cause I don't see it talked about much on various Interblogs.
Knicks 93, Trailblazers 84
Editor's Note: Just finished watching the game tape myself. I said somewhere today that the recent streak has been the Knicks realizing they can get away with bad defense if they make their shots. Tonight, they got away with poor shooting because they locked down the Blazers. It was beautiful. Thanks to Ray Smuckles for his speedy recap. Here's Ray:
Greetings children of America! Knicks looked good from start to finish in this one (minus the start of the 4th quarter when they gave up 14 straight, and had a 23 point lead trimmed to a modest 9). It looked for awhile that we might be on the plus side of garbage time, but alas, not tonight. That aside though, the effort was there, with help defense looking especially good, and the cock strutting his crunch-time stuff.
Who says white men can't jump? (See: Lee denies Pryzbilla, old school)...
