I have been a Chiefs fan since 1990, after I selected them as my favorite team in Nintendo's Tecmo Super Bowl. Derrick Thomas immediately became my favorite player in the game, and that transferred to their real life team. I have been a die-hard Chiefs' fan ever since. So, for 22 of my 30 years on Earth I have been following this team. I live in Illinois and have been to 3 games at Arrowhead (2000 against Manning/Colts on opening day and 2002 against the Broncos when Sharpe killed us with 2 TDs, 2009 against Dallas - all losses). The game I saw in 2000 was the first game after the death of DT, and there was a memorial before the game and they showed a highlight reel on the big screen at the stadium while fighter jets flew over. I will never forget it.
