Good article from Dodd. I only question the validity of the statement:

" Within that deal is a clause that will give any new expansion candidates the same money as the current members (estimated to be at least $20 million per year).

One industry source said that number applies whether the Big 12 invites, "Appalachian State or Florida State."'

Adding FSU wouldn't warrant an increase??

Tomahawk Nation D'vontrey Richardson at Safety?

Someone just posted this on the Democrat  and I wasn't sure where to post this but wanted to see if anyone else saw or heard this and can confirm/deny if there is any truth to it. I don't know how reliable this site is but you all know more about that than i would.

Personally I would love to see him back on the football field in whatever capacity possible as he is a unbelievable athlete. Not sure how difficult it would be for him to make a transition like this if he was already unable to master the offensive playbook.

Thoughts???

Tomahawk Nation Trip to Tallahassee

I know I've talked about it a couple times already but this weekend will be my first ever trip down to visit the Holy Land aka "Doak Campbell Stadium." My Dad attended FSU from 77-79 but has not been back since and it's always been my brother's and my goal to take him (and ourselves of course) to a Florida St vs Florida game when we graduated and had jobs. Well the time has come and we are finally going to get to the visit the place that we have been worshiping for 20 something years now.

I'm writing the post to ask for everyone's suggestions/hints/opinions/ideas that they can offer on a variety of different questions. We have lived predominantly in the northeast so this will be the first time we will get to attend a real college football game in a real college town.  Where's the best place to tailgate? How early do most people arrive? What are the "rules" on alcohol? Are there any special traditions that we should try and go see, ex do the Marching Chiefs do anything special? Great places to eat? Bookstores to visit? Places to see on campus?? And anything else you can suggest.

Any help would be really appreciated and welcomed. I can't even begin to explain how excited we all are about the trip. I've been dreaming about this my whole life and my brother and i want to make it as memorable as possible. I guess all we would need for that is a W....
