I read a little blurb on NFL.com that the Texans are rumored to be shopping Jacoby Jones after the Posey pick. Does anybody have any other information? Is it true? Does it surprise? What other questions can I ask to get my word count up?

I would think Jacoby would be better than a rookie receiver, maybe not. Why not pick a better receiver earlier if you had some intent to trade Jacoby? Hmmmm....

I'm not sure if it's against the rules to mention Florio and PFT on this site, but he made an off-handed comment in one of his articles that I found interesting.  This is probably a non-issue, but I would like to get the input of savvier minds on this topic.

If there's no Player's Union, then there are no rules per se?  More specifically, there isn't a "Banned Substance List"?  Are banned substances enforced by the NFL or by the NFLPA? 

Regardless, with the lockout in progress players aren't required to submit to random testing.  I wonder if there is a...I don't want to use the phrase 'free for all' going on, but I wonder how training is going for the players?

How fast can a player clean his system?  Will there be a grace period when/if the season gets underway?

I was having a discussion yesterday at the end of the game about how the clock works on a delay of game.

The question is whether the game clock restarts with the play clock after the officials assess the penalty?

We were discussing the timeout taken at the end of the game before the field goal.  Was the timeout a bad call or not?  Could the Texans have run more time off the clock with a delay of game penalty?  Would it have made a difference?

I don't mean to sound ignorant, but I'm curious if there would be a beneficial trade for both teams.  Thinking about our present needs at LB and possibly CB/S.  Please let me know what you think.  Thanks.

Do we have enough depth at receiver to make a trade with Minnesota?

Do we have a receiver they'd want that we're willing to part with?

Do they have defensive players we'd want that they are willing to part with?

What's the word on Frankie?  I had some high hopes for him, but he doesn't seem to be progressing.  Is he a lost cause or is there still potential there?  Was there ever potential?  We "need" a big NT.  It seems he would fit the bill, but haven't seen him play too often.  How long can we keep him on the practice squad?  How long do we want to keep him on the practice squad?
