Born in 1958....what a year to have been cognizant!

First Hawkeye Football game '68 Black and Gold spring game where we sat in the "knothole" section (south endzone of Kinnick).

Flunked out of the University of Iowa in 1981 and went to work for real....which is my biggest regret (not having my sheepskin say IOWA)

Was at the 2008 Penn State game (first Iowa game for my son).

College football is the last bastion of true sport. While still highly commercialized and driven by money, it is still the closest thing to amateur competition built for the fans.
