Cortlan Finnegan officially done with the Titans...
Bitter sweet is a very appropriate definition. Listen, rather some of you believe it or not, Cortland burnt his bridges with his little ( poo-nay-nay ) holdout earlier this year in training camp. I think the front office got what we needed out of him, and I agree he should leave. However, I don't agree with them not offering him anything. There are two sides to every story. Let's face it, just like Albert, Cortland was TERRIBLE in 10-11. He then got in his contract year and decided to step his game up, just like Albert did. Anywho, my point is, I agree they should let him walk, and I firmly believe in our two corners we have now. We will just have to get a good backup. Also, I think a year or two from now, we won't be regretting this move.
God bless everyone, and hope you are having a great day!

Meet your newest Titan: Shaun Smith
Pretty funny video of our newest defensive lineman. I think he will bring a mean streak that the TItan's desperately need.
GO TITANS!!!
Tommie Harris - Yay or Nay?
Tommie Harris was released by the Chicago Bears earlier this week. Until this past year, he was considered one of the elite 4-3 Defensive tackles, up there with the likes of Albert Haynesworth ( Miss that tub of lard ), Darnell Dockett ( DE for the Cardinals ), and so on. The thing with Tommie Harris is, he is an injury concern. To counter that, so is just about every other starting monster defensive tackle in the game. We know about that with Jason Jones, Tony Brown, and our good ole friend Albert Haynesworth.
Marc Mariani and Jason Babin named to the Pro Bowl
Nice to see some of our Titans getting some love. There are only a hand few that deserve to go off this roster, and they both deserved it.
Stephen Tulloch sucks in pass Coverage.
I am writing this because I just finished watching a couple Titan games. The main one being the Raiders game. ( I watched this to get my mind off of the bad team we have been watching the past three weeks, and to put an actual smile on my face to see a real Titan game). Anyway, from watching the Raiders game, I came to the conclusion that aside from Will Witherspoon, and Gerald McGrath ( Who have been getting bashed for their coverage skills)... Stephen Tulloch, who in man-to-man has flat duties, i.e has to cover the running-back, SUCKS. He sucks big fat green donkey dick. Don't believe me? He can't even cover/tackle good in the open field. If you have this game DVR'd, watch how easy it was for Darren McFadden ( who by the way was the only player worth noting on the Raiders that day ) to put Stephen Tulloch in his place.
Now don't get me wrong, I love Stephen Tulloch, and he is fantastic in run support. But he was exposed in this game. He is too short to play MLB and too stocky. He cannot cover to save his ass.
Love,
The Rhino
Landry and Rogers ruled out vs Titans?
Looks as though they didn't even make the trip to Nashville. Good news for the Titans, as the 32nd ranked defense in Washington is even worse with arguably their best secondary players out.
GO TITANS!!!
-=Good read brought to you by Solomon Wilcots=-
This is one of the view NFL commentators that I enjoy listening to. He is not biased, and he always tells it like it is. Also, for all the non-Fisher believers, he gives some interesting and points as to how Fisher can handle his players.
Vince Young sits out Friday's practice...
This is not good news, I don't think he is going to play come Sunday...
Haynesworth practicing with... the practice squad?
Yep, you read that right. I think this means he will be very limited at Sunday's game and even possibly traded early next week.
Let me know what you guys think!
O-Line Rankings - Are you serious!?
This dude has the Titans offensive line ranked 17th overall, and the Texans ranked 6th? Are you SERIOUS?
Keep in mind that the Chicago Bears and Jacksonville Jags are only 4 - 5 behind us.
The Titans have a top 5 line at the LEAST.
William Hayes' Dog Video!
Just a video of William Hayes and his puppy - if any of you are Interested.
Big Al knocked up another chick and is getting sued!?
Title says it all - Click to read.
Geez la friggin' weez Big Al!!!
JaMarcus Russell gets the boot!
Any chance another team takes a chance on him? or is he just THAT bad?
Titans 2010 Schedule!
Only two primetime games, both against divisional opponents.
That should be fun-
should we have received more?
How do you guys think we will do overall?
10-6 here.
McNabb traded to the Skins
Never have seen a guy do so much for a franchise, and get dealt like that..
Goodluck Donovan!

Happy New Year everybody! Titan fans! Hope you all have a great and wonderful upcoming year. God Bless!

Vince Young stirring things up...
Oh great, here we go....
Torry Officially a Jaguar
NFLTA, Steve Wyche~
State Torry Holt signed w/ the Jags for 3 yrs/20Million dollar contract...
Oh my, they think he has 3 years left???
I don't know about that, just over 6 million a year w/ incentives I'm guessing.... Don't really think he is worth that.
And will he definately be their number one receiver..? I really can't think of any other receiver on their roster...
Will he be a threat to the Tennessee Tiitans?
Chris Simms a Bronco
Chris Simms just signed a two year deal with the Broncos. Ugh... this is not good news for us Titans fans in my opinion. We all know Kerry isn't the long-term answer, and we don't know if Vince can lead the team anymore or if he can lead the team to the superbowl. Oh well, hope Chris does really well with the Broncos!

Rob Bironas Signs Extension
http://blogs.nfl.com/2009/02/18/titans-k-bironas-agree-on-four-year-deal/
This is awesome. Robby has been an excellent place kicker for us for a couple years now, and now he is signed to a long term deal, paying him about 3 Million a year.
Deserved!
Now on with the Albert Haynesworth fiasco...
That doesn't sound very well..

He is a goner
That punk-man was cut by the Dallas Cowboys today, feels pretty sweet to me.

I don't believe any NFL team is going to pick him up, not after his awful past and latest incident. He just doesn't have a clue and is extremely ignorant. So pathetic..

Line thoughts
Offensive Line-
We all know that Roos, Scott and Stewart, the mauler, all are fantastic at what they do. My concern is center - with Kevin Mawae, and Left guard, of course. First off, Kevin Mawae looked like a kid last year, not playing at pro bowl, NFL level. His snaps weren't good half the time, and the other time he did get the snap off, he just kept getting bullied around in the back field. I use to love Kevin Mawae, I just think he needs to hang his pads up, and call it a career. Now, I know he won't do that at least this year, so the Left Guard spot will be occupied by Amano. He looked really well the times he played last year and I have no doubt he will get the job done, but Daniel Loper looked good in the playoff game against San Diego, but he will more than likely backup the tackles. Does anyone know if Leroy Harris is any good?
Defensive Line-
Albert is Albert - The most dominant force at defensive tackle, even at times defensvie end. We better get him his contract. Kyle Vanden bosch is amazing himself, can't wait to see him sacking Peyton. Jevon Kearse will hopefully revive his career, he is back in his #90, and back in Tennessee, he will shine. Tony Brown will use his size to his advantage and be a decent number #2 tackle next to Haynesworth.
I know you all already know all of this, but there's absolutely nothing going on with the Titans and I just wanted to let you all know what I think.
Give me your thoughts
Albert Haynesworth--- Old
Hey everyone, I found this site about Albert Haynesworth and why he did what he did, what he has done to get better, and lots more. Many of you have probably already read it, but if you haven't, I advise you to, it's excellent. -------------- Have to have more words a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a

Oh geez...
You all need to read this...
The first article note reads : Pacman: "I want to make it work with the Titans".
This is a shock. Maybe Dallas didn't "Wow" him too much. And we supposedly feel we need to give him another chance? I have mixed emotions - His words make him seem like he has changed...
What do you all think?
Trade?
I have heard on SI.com, that the Cowboys may be offering a player from their roster along with a 7th round pick to us for the person we have all loved to hate. I don't know if this will ever happen, but who would they be offering, and what if it's Marcus Spears, the DE? He would fill in nicely with Kearse, and has great talent.
Rogers
The Detroit Lions might get rid of Shaun Rogers. Maybe it's just me, but the thought of him and Haynesworth on the line with KVB seems to me like a very good front, better than what we have of our starter,Tony Brown. Maybe if he doesn't cost entirely too much, but if he is relatively cheap, let's get him.
