The Warriors grant a wish for a special fan.
Great to see the team coming together like this and try to brighten his life.

Golden State Of Mind Patience is the Key to Success

From watching the Warriors face off against the Clippers, we all got a taste of what is to come ( except for Jack and Beans sitting out ). If you have not already noticed, all young NBA teams have been able to break out of the gates and explode on to the scene among top NBA contenders. Take the Portland Trailblazers for example. They had tried to complete,y revamp their team by aquiring  young stars like Brandon Roy and LaMarcus Aldridge. It was only a matter of time until these young stars took hold of the team and began to go on a tear.

The Warriors now have two young stars that have already established their names in the NBA. We have Monta Ellis and Andris Biedrins. In order for a team to be a force they must have a consistent guard and a dominant big man. New orleans has that with the editions of Chris Paul and David West. With many injuries this season the Warriors have not Managed to stay on track but when healthy we are a force to be reckoned with. In the 2010 season the Warriors are projected to not be a factor as they used to be in the past two seasons but with the development of players like Brandon Wright and Anthony Randolph under way, we could surprise many. All that is needed is some patience.

In order for the Warriors to be good enough for next season Don Nelson will have to make Crawford opt out which will not likely happen because no team will offer him the contract that he has now in the 2009 offseason.

This next topic has been talked about lately but it is true. Monta Ellis will need to stay in the Bay Area. If you look back in the Warriors past history then a name like Gilbert Arenas will cross your mind. Gilbert was a up and coming guard in the NBA, just like Monta. When his contract was up we never sought to sign him.

Jason Richardson will also cross your mind. Jason Richardson was traded just so that Monta will be the future of the Warriors franchise. If we were to give up on Ellis then the J-Rich deal will have no use.

So before any of you go on thinking that the Warriors have no future just waitand have patience.
