Folks-

For the third year in a row I'll be selling some of my spring training tickets for A's games. Sadly, they won't be there very long, but I do have a few games that I can't use that I would like to sell to a fellow ANer. The price for two tickets is $42, and they are located in lower box nine, second row behind the A's dugout.

You can check my previous history and see photos which I'll try to upload later to show you where you'll be sitting. The games I have available right now are:

February 29 v. Milwaukee

March 5 v. San Diego

March 17 v. Kansas City

If you're interested, please contact me at:

Hey Folks-

As some of you know I've got season tickets for the A's in Phoenix, and again this year there are some games I won't be able to use. These seats are simply incredible, you won't be disappointed when you sit there this year. They're in Lower Box 9, in the second row behind the A's dugout (Tickets are listed as row four, but there are no rows 1 & 2). These are great seats to get that autograph or photo of your favorite A's player. Here is a map of the stadium:

http://oakland.athletics.mlb.com/oak/ballpark/seating_chart_spring.jsp

There are two tickets, and the cost for the pair is $45, plus shipping. The games I can't use as of now are:

I'll probably be posting a few more once I figure out what games I won't be able to see this year. Just to give you an idea of where these seats are, here are a few photos from last year, this is from Frank's first at bat with the A's last spring when he hit that blast that still might be in the air.

This one shows how great these seats are:

If you're interested in any of these games, please contact me, my e-mail is:

mjsimons@wi.rr.com

First come first served, so if you want them, act fast! Thanks again to Blez for allowing me the bandwith!

Cheers
Mark

Folks-

I have a season package for A's Spring Training games, and there are a few games that I won't be able to use since I'll still be up in lovely Milwaukee. I'd like to sell them to A's fans and not to a ticket broker, so here they are, first come first served. The tickets are some of the best at Muni, they are in Section 9, Row 4 (there is no row 1 or 2), right behind the A's Dugout. You can't beat the location! Check out the seating chart:

http://oakland.athletics.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/oak/ballpark/seating_chart_spring.jsp

The tickets are $40 for the pair for each game. The games I can't use are:

March 9 v. Brewers
March 28 v. Rangers
March 29 v. Giants

Here are a couple of photos from my seats last year, these seats are about six seats to the left of these photos, they are not behind the screen. All of the games start at 1:00 in Phoenix. If you are interested please contact me, my e-mail address is under my profile.

Again, first come first served, you won't be disappointed with these seats, they are great to get that autograph for the kids.

Cheers
Mark

Rickey Henderson Officially Retires...

Well I'm sure most of you have heard the news that the Mets have hired Rickey Henderson to coach at spring training for ten days this spring. He'll also help out for a week during the regular season. According to a friend of mine who is close to Rickey, he was offered a full time gig, but felt loyalty to Omar and Willie (whose son played with Rickey in Newark in 2004), to join the Mets. While I wish that he could have retired as an A's player, it is also sad to see that the end of an era has finally happened. Part of me knows however that if given the chance, Rickey would join the local American Legion League in June just for a chance to play again.

Here is the story:

http://tinylink.com/?x0ZKrcacn6
