Raised in Tacoma, WA I religiously followed the Sonics. The situation that led to the sale of my beloved Franchise still strikes too close to my core. Thus, I arrived in OR in 2005 to attend college at the University of Portland. Soon I began following the Blazers with a passion and marveled at the transformation from Jail Blazers to one of the most promising young teams in the L today.

Last season I purchased a quarter season package and attended the final home playoff game against the Rockets. Just for closure, I also attended the two games when OKC aka NOT the Sonics paid a visit to the Rose Garden.

Between the I-5 corridor, having Nate as a coach, Roy a UW product and Martell a WA HS institution, my local ties to the team that defined a major aspect of my childhood was retired… making way for a full transformation to RIP CITY. The team of my past was the Sonics. Now as I continue to develop as a basketball fanatic my squad resides in RIP City, my new home.
