Lone Star Ball Pitchers not named Greinke or Garza

I figured it would be interesting to throw around some names of other pitchers not named Grienke or Garza who may be attractive to trade for. I do have enough sense to know that the guys here probably are not available for a realistic asking price, however I am personally tired of reading the same articles over and over again.

I am going to throw out the name Anibal Sanchez.  Last season was his first fully healthy season since 2006. He is in his second year of arbitration and considering his 1.25 million salary last season and the nice year (era+ 118, 3.0 war, 195 innings pitched) he had in 2010, he is due for a decent bump in salary. Florida just signed Javier Vazquez, and while everyone needs as much pitching as possible, they may be open to trading Sanchez over Ricky Nolasco.

I am curious to hear some other names and get some kind of discussion going on guys who may be "off the radar" so to speak, but still interesting to talk about and speculate on.

Lone Star Ball Off topic: auto accident

Last week I was involved in a wreck. It was not my fault, I was driving through an intersection  and a driver ran a stop sign and hit me in the drivers side door at 35 or so MPH. I wasn't seriously hurt, just bumped and bruised. The car is probably a total loss. Body shop is estimating 9000 dollars of damage  on a 2005 Dodge Stratus.

How do I know if I need a lawyer or not? I don't want to sue and "get rich", I just want to be back at where I was before the crash.

Lone Star Ball Help me plan a baseball Honeymoon Road Trip

My girlfriend of 11 years and I are getting married on Friday April 13th. After the wedding, we will both be off of work for the week after for a honeymoon. Being the great gal she is, she has agreed to a baseball road trip.

So, help me plan this out. Only a few things to keep in mind.

  1. The trip starts Saturday the 14th from NYC. I figured we'd catch either a Mets game or a Yankees game and then head out of town.
  2. The Rangers are in Chicago Tues, Wed, and Thurs. One of those games is a definite must. Also the day after or before we have to be in Chicago so she can do the "tourist" stuff. ( ie. Sears Tower and Jerry Springer)
  3. 6 - 7 hours of driving between games is all I am up for, so nothing too far west.
  4. We both have to be back for work on Monday morning the 23rd
So any ideas?

Lone Star Ball Coco Crisp

If Manny isn't traded and the Sox still sign JD Drew, who's the odd man out? Either Crisp or Wily Mo. How do you guys feel about getting Crisp for center field?

Lone Star Ball Winter meetings update

http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2685697

ESPN is posting frequent updates for the winter meetings. Says Padillia is looking for a 4 year deal, but the Rangers are balking.

Lone Star Ball Pat Burrell

Anyone given any thought on this guy? I know he has a no trade clause, but lets put that aside for a second. What if we trade Hank Blalock to the Phils and eat the salary difference (which for next season is roughly 5 million dollars) and then go and sign Aramis Ramirez to play 3rd? Burrell would play LF and DH. Those 2 deals should bolster our lineup quite a bit.
