Grizzlies make offer to Iverson

Allen Iverson twittered again Wednesday, saying the Grizzlies have made him an offer -- and Memphis says it's true.

Grizzlies general manager Chris Wallace told ESPN.com Wednesday night that negotiations between the sides have heated up to the point where the Grizzlies have made their first formal offer.

"We're heading into the home stretch before the season, and we have had interest in Allen all summer," Wallace said. "We've been in touch on a fairly consistent basis and had dialogue with his agent, Leon Rose, since the beginning of free agency."

Big Baby vs. Sheldon Williams

hmmmmmmmmm?

Well lets say hypotheticly BBD and Sheldon Williams go 1 on 1 who would win? Honesty i couldn't decide. Babys offense was much improved this last season, but look at this in 21 minutes last year big baby averaged 7 points and 4 rebounds and in 10 minutes per game Sheldon averaged 4.1 points and 3.4 rebounds thats comparable. Although its differant in Boston becuase their less shots to go around. New point though, I would have to say that Williams has a better NBA body and can play center too. So working with good coaches and vetrans Williams can devolope his 5th pick potential. An maybe.. just maybe.. we could have 2 big babys running around the court none expensive ones ( fingers crossed) may i add.

I just looked at the free agent tracker at NBA.Com. I looked at availible free agents at center and i see Johan Petro he seems like an ok player to me just looking at his stats why hasn't any team looked at him? he is athletic,7 foot and can handle the ball pretty well i did notice looking at his stats . this also relates to the topic about celtics need another big for next year

NBA Talk: Rumors Spreading of T.J. Ford to the Boston Celtics

Yes it's true. Indiana Pacers' point guard, T.J. Ford, has been rumored that he might be going to the Boston Celtics according to NBA Dimensions, Twitter, Celtics17, and many other sources.

It's truly surprising, yes I know. No, I am not here to break down Ford coming to Boston because it hasn't been that big of a deal yet. It is very interesting if Ford does come to Boston.

It does make the Pacers look for a different point guard. They could go for Andre Miller, in which ESPN said that a perfect fit for Miller would be in Indy. They could also go for Allen Iverson as well, as Gabe made a solid point of how he'd fit in one of my old A.I. articles of him coming to the Memphis Grizzlies.

It's going to be interesting, but I really don't think Ford will fall to Indy. But if he does, Pacer fans don't need to worry too much. And besides, we could switch Brandon Rush up at the point guard position and leave Mike Dunleavy or Dahntay Jones starting at shooting guard.

We'll see how things turn out.

Round 2 pick 30

Last year late in the draft the celtics selected semih erden. Whats the deal with him? Can someone tell me some more information? If he is a decent player why dont we use him i cannot see rasheed having many years left and we wont have many bigs this season. When 1 or 2 post players get in foul trouble what are we going to do. So what is Erden's situation and ho else is in the possible picture
