The Carmelo Trade Redux
I just had a discussion with a buddy of mine who suggested something that I would like to get feedback from you guys about. The biggest complaint about this trade is that it has hurt our depth and left us without a legitimate Center. So my buddy has a proposal for a trade that would solve some of these problems.
Debunking the Gallinari myth
Jerzeeballa put up a post about why he will not diss Gallo. That post garnered some responses some pro Gallo and other's against Gallo. For the most part what was uncovered is that people's perceptions of Danilo Gallinari are built around considerable mythology so let's take a look.

Why Walker, Randolph and Mozgov are really not getting playing time.
Given our problems with the bench, there has arisen the usual boilerplate responses concerning D'Antoni. "He does not like to play a deep bench. "He does not trust young players," and my favorite "He holds grudges. However if we put all the emotionalism aside, we can see that there are real reasons why these three guys in particular are not playing.

Note to Donnie
Donnie you will be under considerable pressure to trade for a certain person from the media, fans, and even Dolan. But I am writing this to urge you to stick to your roots and do what you know is right.
The Ulitimate Post
I am writing this as the ultimate post so the rest of you can be freed to enjoy the Knicks for the rest of the season. Now that the team is 10-9 it is time to:
Trade Gallinari- I really do not have a rational reason why or any idea for whom, but we should trade just because we should trade somebody! So I say we should trade him for Melo, Iggy, Arenas, Durant, Troy Murphy, Jamal Crawford, or the next Schmuck who drops 20 on us, what do ya say fellas!
Fire D'Antoni- This is a no brainer, he doesn't preach defense or scream at his players or the refs enough like real coaches do. So what, he has won 7 of his last 9 games look who he has beaten, and look at the scores, winning games by the score of 125-116. Everybody knows that the only way you win basketball games in NY is to play 75-72 ball games now that is coaching. Really where has that style he coaches ever been successful, the Western Conference, That minor league where you gotta win 50 games to be an 8th seed! That garbage won't work in the Eastern Conference where 35 wins might get you in the playoffs some years!
Trade Raymond Felton- Everybody knows this team isn't gonna go anywhere until Chris Paul is running the show. I mean really look at the stats folks, Paul's 16.5 points and 10.3 assists is so much better than Felton's 18.2 pts and 8.1 assists a game it isn't even funny. For those two less points and two more assists we should not only trade Felton, but Gallinari, Chandler, Douglas, Turiaf, Randolph, and Fields to get him!
Fire Donnie Walsh- He sacrificed two years for Lebron and did not get him. Really everybody knows that had he kept Crawford Marbury, Richardson, Randolph, Jeffries and Jerome James we would have probably gone to at least the Eastern Conference finals last year, And we would have been so good Lebron would have signed with us for the MLE. Instead he gave us Stoudemire, Felton, and drafted some scrub named Fields. Everbody knows that Donnie should have taken Lance Stephenson afterall isn't he averaging like 40 a game for the Pacers right now! I tell you Donnie is the worst he's gotta go.
Trade Stoudemire for David Lee- Everybody knows that the Knicks are a worse team with Stoudemire than Lee. I mean the advanced stats prove it! I say we trade Lee for Stoudemire straight up on December 15th at midnight!
There I have said it now the rest of you can enjoy the season in peace!

Hate/Love
With all the talk about Tony Parker and a possible trade for him (I don't think he is being traded), here is a lineup that you guys will hate.
Donnie Walsh Needs To Correct His Biggest Mistake
I was in New York last night, my business now has me lving in DC, and I decided to stop in to one of my favorite haunts. Where a guy was going on and on about Donnie's biggest mistake. Gotta light a fresh cigar so lets go to the jump

Sergio's Plans
It appears that El Matador ( of the Matador D that is) has not been waiting around for Donnie Walsh to call.
You want Lebron? Then are you prepared for what Donnie would have to do?
If Lebron leaves Cleveland it is universally accepted that he will do so, because he does not believe he could win a championship next year or the year after that.
Who is Donnie's real target this summer
Donnie Walsh, in typical Donnie fashion has let us all know that he is weighing his options this off season, and he keeps saying things that indicate that we may all be wrong about what he has up his sleeves.
Is Lebron James really worth it
This is not a post bashing Lebron per se but one that is not gonna jock him either. He has enough people around here kneeling at his feet that he doesn't need me. I am going to look at his game.
If you Think D'Antoni need to preach defense you are wrong
It is the widely held belief that D'Antoni needs to preach defense in order to turn the Knicks around.
Donnie Do not sign Joe Johnson, you have Chandler
Marc Berman wrote earlier this week that Joe Johnson may be available after all, and the
How would you like to have Rajon Rondo as your point Guard Knicl Fans? You just might have him his Name though is now Toney Douglas
Now before some of you call me a madman again, if you look at Rondo as a rookie and Douglas's rookie campaign they are more alike than they are different.
The most ridiculous post I could think of.
I was looking At D'Antoni's offense and as a result came up with this idea.
why David Lee needs to play center
It is almost universally accepted that David Lee cannot play Center. Well here are the reasons that Center is the best place for him to be.

Why Mike D'Antoni is a bad defensive coach
Mike D'Antoni is a bad defensive coach period.
IF YOU CAN'T SIGN A STAR WHY NOT GROW ONE?
There has been a lot of talk, most of it negative, concerning the ability of Donnie Walsh and the Knicks to land a super star player like Lebron or Wade. This may have some merit but may not.
Why if Donnie Stirkes out on Big names he has got to trade Wil Chan
I am hoping against hope that Donnie does not strike out with the Big boys, but if he does then Wilson Chandler has got to go.
Donnie is thinking of making these moves this off season
Full Disclosure these moves are completely unsubstantiated but do come from a source inside the Knick organization. But I am curious on what you folks think.
The Donnie Walsh effect
Donnie Walsh has the other GM's and owners around the league running scared.
