The Dream Shake Where will the Rockets Be?

I'm not sure why everbody seems to think that it is so impossible for the Rockets to not be the eighth seed this year.

If t-mac is what he says he is and is feeling as well as he is he should be back by December in reality. Our lineup can at the very least contend with the bottom 8 teams in the western conference cant they? And then the weak but improving eastern conference, shouldn't we be able to breeze past there bottom 10 teams?

If Tmac does miraculously come back to form (I am a believer of tmac since he 'WAS' my hero) shouldnt we be better then the 22 win streak team that won only 55 games that season and pushed the Utah Jazz who then were at there best to six games?

Where do you guys think the Rockets will finish this year?

The Dream Shake Cavs land Shaq for Wallace, Pavlovic

The Cleveland Cavaliers have reached an agreement in principle to acquire Phoenix Suns center Shaquille O’Neal(notes), multiple sources involved in the talks told Yahoo! Sports late Thursday night.

Cleveland will send Ben Wallace(notes), Sasha Pavlovic(notes), the 46th pick in Thursday’s draft and cash to the Suns for O’Neal.

Cleveland and Phoenix were both juggling multiple trade possibilities with other teams, with the Cavs involved with as many as six trade scenarios.

Yet the disappointing Eastern Conference finals loss to the Orlando Magic left Cavs GM Danny Ferry with incredible pressure to accumulate talent around James in the final season prior to his 2010 free agency. James has blessed the O’Neal trade, especially because it should give his overmatched frontline a chance to compete with Dwight Howard in the playoffs. Ferry and Phoenix GM Steve Kerr are close friends and had talked off and on about a Shaq deal since the February trade deadline.

O’Neal, 37, makes $21 million next season, and the Suns were determined to move him in a package that would save them money. Wallace made $14 million and could take a buyout to retire, and only $1.5 million of Pavlovic’s $4.9 million salary is guaranteed.

Cavs just got real good.

The Dream Shake Dont listen to the haters.

Some laker fans might say we got pretty lucky tonight. I will just explain how luck had nothing to do with it.

They will say ron had an over the top good game or at least first half with 21 pts 7 ast only 2 turnover and a steal

I counter that saying did yao really have a good game?

He did come up big in the fourth but 9-17 shooting is about average for yao his 10-10 ft in the end really gave him all of those points.

Pau Gasol was off, really off.

Was scola any better? His shooting was off tonight but the big thing with Scola tonight was his horrible decision making on some passes he turned it over way too many times or forced really bad passes that lead to turnovers.

Kobe was sick.

Dont start that weak shit.

They will say there three pointers were off tonight which they were but ours were only slightly better.

And finally they will blame the rust, but as one of our fellow ever so great TNT commentators said quoting Phil Jackson, "Rust is better then Rest." Well your own coach said it so don't bitch at us.

And don't start to flame me because your mad.

Good luck in Game 2.

The Dream Shake MVP Talk

I figured since everybody has been talking about it I figured I would see what you guys thought about it.

Here is my intake-

I would give it D-Wade. People are completley forgetting what the word MVP means. Most Valuable Player whenever the heat need it he delivers

if you take Kobe away from LA i estimate 45 wins

take Lebron away from the cavs 27 wins

take d-wade away from miami 20 wins at best you saw what they did last season and he played a few games

do we need to look at the finals from 06

take a look at kobe and lebron recently

lebron-07 finals 0-4 to spurs (in his defense they had a horrific team)

kobe-08 finals 2-4 to celtics (the celtics were great)

but still the 06 mavericks had a 2-0 lead on them and they went and won four straight to take the finals.

How do you guys feel about this?

The Dream Shake t-mac

I was noticing some of the free agents for 2009-2010 season and allen iverson

what if we were to give t-mac for iverson it would definitley make a push for a 2010 title.

Would it work?

What are the flaws?

The Dream Shake Von Wafer

Does anyone else see a possible star in him?

I know there was just an article posted about him but I mean he honestly looks like the old mcgrady to me. I think he should start anyone else think so?

Even though you will probably say it will disrupt the line-ups he has solid defense and a great scorer. I think he is our next big thing and could be one of the big pieces to get us a championship.

And he almost got cut...

The Dream Shake McGrady

I have been a Tracy McGrady fan for forever i defended him through all of his playoff failures especailly since he does come big when it matters (EX. 40 points game 6 elimination in Utah last year) But McGrady seems to me like he has totally lost it as we can see from last night. The old Mcgrady would have never back down from a game against the King and would have out scored him. Last night even though it appeared his knees where hurting, but whats new? A champion plays through the pain. What is our solution? I feel that McGrady's days are numbered, and it hurts me to say that since I am his biggest fan.

The Dream Shake Steve Javie

Anyone up for a petition to get Steve Javie fired?

As we all know he has long been ruining our league with his marvelous calls. I think it is about time someone gets this started because once playoff time comes around I have a feeling the rockets will be fortunate enough to get screwed over with him reffing at least one of our games, so I figured we might as well fix it before he ruins it.
