NUFC offered long time target Gameiro but might miss out on Yanga-Mbiwa
If Ba leaves Gameiro might be who we bring back. He was a toon target to be our number 9 but chose to stay in Ligue 1. He has had problems with PSG's coach so he could be a good choice if we can't get in De Jong or Giroud. If we catnt secure those 2 it could be a good idea if we did a swap with PSG (Ba's childhood club) for Gameiro.
It also seems as if Yanga-Mbiwa is out of our price range now and all I can say is that I hope it is not true. Maybe if he doesn't play well in the Euros then his price will go down. You never know what is going to happen.

Montpellier Chief Warns off Newcastle on Olivier Giroud
He has a £9.5 million release clause, he would be a simply fantastic addition if Ba leaves. Apparently Newcastle is in the lead to get him. I hope this is true, it's hard to tell. He would also be our number 1 striker during the ACoN and I would be perfectly ok with this because he is a fantastic player. I will even go so far as saying I would prefer it if we sell Ba and get either Giroud, more realistic, or Luuk De Jong, more expensive but he will be a star.

CHN Predictions League, Final Game: Newcastle United vs. Everton
Hello All!
I was able to finish work and come back so I decided to post the last predictions league thread. Newcastle has to win this tough last game of the season to have any hope of playing in the Champions League. As I am sure most of you are aware, we will pass Arsenal only if it loses and we win. We also can pass Tottenham if they draw or lose and we win. Hopefully Arsenal loses and Tottenham loses so that we are guaranteed 3rd place and a place in the Champions League. I predict a 3-1 win for Newcastle, Cisse, HBA, Guti, Jelavic. The Magpiedamus title is at stake. Good luck to all!
Rules
- Before the game, predict the winner (or you can predict a draw), the final score, and goalscorers. The deadline will be 5 minutes before kick-off (1325 BST on Sunday).
- Predicting the outcome correctly will give you 1 point.
- Predicting the exact score will give you 5 points. Failing to predict the exact score but getting the total number of goals correct will give you 1 point, as will predicting one half of the score. If you predict a total of 6 goals or more, you are ineligible to receive points for predicting the correct goalscorers (see below). However, if 6 goals or more are actually scored, the ineligibility will be lifted. This rule is designed to prevent people from predicting an abnormally high score in order to better their chances of earning the bonus for predicting the scorers.
- For each goal scorer you pick correctly, you earn 2 points. You may not pick more scorers than you did goals in order to hedge your bets. (In other words, if you predict a 1-0 score, you can only choose one scorer.)

A great segment on NUFC's enforcer in the midfield, the one and only Cheick Tiote. The segment is in French, but it is subtitled in English. I love the fact that he even represents NUFC with his car which is white and has a big black stripe in the middle and his vanity plate is TIOTE which is epic. I wont spoil the rest of it but it is a MUST WATCH!

NUFC @ Swansea Predictions League Thread
Hello Everyone!
All the games from this point on are important because we want to see if this team has what it takes to go to Europe! We play in Wales tomorrow at the Liberty Stadium. In the last 6 games against Swansea, NUFC has won 4 and tied 2. Swansea however has only lost 3 games at home this season. They play a very flowing type of football so tomorrows game will be a dangerous one if we dont come out of the gate ready to play. I predict a 2-1 win for the good guys with goals from Cisse, Ba, Sigurdsson. Hopefully the momentum will be continuing from the last 3 games. Lets go NUFC! Howay the lads!

Liverpool @ NUFC Predictions League Thread
Hi Guys,
We have a big game tomorrow against one team that seems to be always interested in taking players from us. Liverpoo is easily my most hated team other than 5unde1and. Hopefully we take it to them tomorrow and show them how its done. Tiote and Ryan Taylor are expected to be back tomorrow, hopefully those additions can cover our thin defense.
We do have suspect defense, a great attack, so naturally I predict our D will be great and our attack to manage only 1 goal by none other than Strawberry Syrup Man, Demba Ba! 1-0 NUFC. What do you guys think the score will be? Will Carroll score? Will Ba end his scoring drought?
This is perfect for when HBA scores!
