Lifelong baseball fan...my teams are the Diamondbacks, Angels (hence my love for Joe Saunders) and Rockies. I hail from Colorado originally (though born in SoCal) and have followed the Rockies and also the Diamondbacks since their inceptions and the Angels since childhood. I love a great game of baseball and grew up in a family of baseball fans.

Favourite players past & present include Bronson Arroyo, Joe Saunders, Augie Ojeda, Ryan Roberts, Geoff Blum, Craig Breslow, Henry Blanco, Ian Kennedy, Wade Miley, Chris Johnson, Aaron Hill, John McDonald, A.J. Pollock, Adam Eaton, Jeff Salazar, Ryan Spilborghs, Barry Enright, Kelly Johnson, Clay Zavada, Miguel Montero, Chris Young, Jon Garland, Orlando Hudson, David Eckstein, Todd Helton, Ubaldo Jimenez, Troy Tulowitzki, Carlos Gonzalez, Matt Holliday, & Brad Hawpe, to name a few.

Other interests include photography, scrapbooking, music/karaoke, web design, writing/blogging, traveling, movies, concerts, and bowling.

A Fan Of...

Clay Zavada: Making His Way Back To The Bigs

2

This just in... The Padres have purchased left-hander Clay Zavada from the independent league Gary SouthShore RailCats, according to MLB.com's Corey Brock (on Twitter). Zavada had a 1.65 ERA in 16 1/3 innings for the RailCats. The former Diamondback was known more for his mustache than his pitching in 2009, but he posted a 3.35 ERA with 9.2 K/9 and 4.2 BB/9 in 51 innings for the D-Backs that year. Brock tweets that Zavada will report to Double-A.
