California Golden Blogs Adventures in Generosity

"Kleph of Roll Bama Roll makes epic road trip" As you may recall, there were some terrible wind storms in the South east. Much devistation and injury. Anyway, the internet communities around some silly college football have gotten together to really try to make a difference in the real world.
The first leg of this grand adventure we're calling the Roll Bama Roll/Well That's Cool Sunshine Express was a quick hop by plane to Los Angeles from Phoenix. I arrived at Burbank Airport which I love because you can still disembark from the plane the old school way - from the back exit down the ladder.

California Golden Blogs Everybody Drink!

Appearantly, everyone and their mother is downing the Cal Koolaid this off season....Bleacher Report Downs a Pint.

Oregon, Oregon State, and California are all possible alternate candidates for the Pac 10 championship. Oregon however, lost its premier halfback, Jeremiah Johnson, and elite cornerback, Patrick Chung, to graduation.

The departure of Johnson will hurt the Oregon offense, which strives off a running game and averaged over 250 rushing yards last season. Chung's absence will be relevant on defense because of the emergence of speedy threats Jahvid Best, Jaquizz Rodgers, and Joe McKnight on opposing teams in the conference.

Oregon State and "Quizz" may be the underdog of the chase for the crown, but they are not as talented and well-rounded as the California Golden Bears.

One of the challenges of marching band participation....

The University of Wisconsin marching band has been suspended indefinitely while allegations of hazing, alcohol abuse and sexual misconduct are investigated.
