Die hard Denver Broncos fan since I was 7 years old when I moved to Denver from Richmond, VA in 1982. Yep, I got here one year before the great #7 came to town and that's the Broncos I grew up on. Was here through the 80's, the Super Bowl appearances (and heartbreaking losses), the Wade Phillips years (ugh), and of course those glorious Super Bowl wins. Still living here in Denver and still bleeding orange and blue for over 27 years now! My how time flies!

QUICK OVERVIEW OF THE DENVER BRONCOS 2010 DRAFT CLASS
QUICK OVERVIEW OF THE DENVER BRONCOS 2010 DRAFT CLASS
(through the first 3 rounds)
I have no doubt that after tomorrow many of the brilliant football minds here at MHR will create various summaries and overviews of this year's draft complete with in-depth analysis, insight, opinions, and predictions (from both MHR members and other various sources). But I thought a quick run down of the players and positions we've acquired after 3 rounds might be helpful to some before the final day of the draft.
So below (after the jump) is quick overview of the newest members of the Denver Broncos (up through the 3rd round) from the 2010 NFL Draft. Obviously I did not write any of this. It is simply a compilation of information and links from various sources (most notably CBS Sports and MHR).
Definitely looking forward to the rest of this draft and excited about our team's prospects for 2010 and beyond!
Go Broncos!
Scouting Overview/Analysis of J.D. Walton
Don't know much about him, but seems like a solid pick and just the kind of guy you want (and we need) mauling in the center of our line.
A post from the PatsPulpit regarding McD and this week's game
This was originally posted as a comment by underdog in the "Champ Bailey Named AFC Defensive Player of the Week" post, but I thought it deserved more attention (hope you don't mind underdog....thanks for the find).
There are also some decent, intelligent, insightful and mostly respectful comments by many Pats fans after the post (which I will give them credit for; that's not something seen on many other teams' sites). Many of their fans clearly still have a lot of respect for McDaniels and seem to view the Broncos, McD, Culter, the media and our tumultuous offseason in much the same way that many of us here at MHR did/do. I think that says a lot about McDaniels and the good things we can expect from him over the coming years (although many of us already felt this way, while some may never come around).
In any case, it's a short, but good read. Check it out and leave a comment.

Chicago QB Cutler clarifies comments about Denver (fans)
Nice backpedal. Anyone buying it?
Let's Get Pumped, Inspired and Excited For The Season.....
Regardless of whose side you're on... Bowlen's, McDaniel's, Cutler's, Marshall's, Prater's, or the mainstream media (God help you for that), if this doesn't get Broncos fans pumped up, inspired and excited for the upcoming season, I don't know what will!
Go Broncos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NFL's Top 10 Divas
Guess who's on this list... a current and a former Bronco. This has already begun to be discussed here at MHR, but it's funny how Cutler is now starting to be seen by the MSM as the "villain" who ran himself out of Denver as opposed to the "victim" who was run out by McDaniels and Bowlen. Although I don't know why I'm surprised by this since by mid-season the MSM will most likely be touting how wrong Jay was, how well McD and the Broncos handled the situation and how we got the better of the deal. Not to mention they'll back track on pretty much any and every negative thing they said about McD, Bowlen and the Broncos. Typical MSM.
Here's the link to the other so-called diva on this list. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/pgStory?contentId=9667026#sport=NFL&photo=9668116 Not sure I agree that he's a "diva", per se. Semi-problem player? Maybe. But diva? Not sure about that. Even the writer's comments question it by ending with a speculative statement... "The player's probably a diva." Probably? That's the best you could come up with? Guess they needed to fill this spot with someone and chose BMarsh because he's been in the news recently. More typical MSM.
