Ponder then went to Commack for 70 yards and a TD despite what looked like a Brandon Jenkins sack right before Ponder got rid of the pass.

EJ is out for spring practice. He hit his throwing hand on a defender's helmet and got a compound dislocation of his index finger. He has already had surgery (4 stiches) and will be held out of practice for the remainder of the spring drills.
