I'm curious to see how you guys think the trades affects Maybin.

I think he takes it personal and ups his production. I know he's not the most liked prospect on this site.

I just think he gets bashed for no reason at all. The kid is 20 and has all the talent in the world.

Why doesn't he get any love? At one time he was a highly regarded prospect. Now he has been removed from most peoples top 50. I don't get why though.

He's been young for his league. In fact i think he is still younger than some of this yrs HS class. Personally, i think he has accomplished quiet a bit. I know some question his attitude. Hell, I question every kid 14-19. They don't understand life.

I just don't see why people doubt him so much. His power is amazing, he has stayed at 3rd (not for sure how much longer though),  He can hit for average, he still sounds like a middle of the order bat.

If you've seen him play give some input. I would love to know why this board hates him so much.

I personally think it would be great for the organization. It would free up money and would add another basher to an already potent lineup.

I know Stewart isn't loved around here, but I think he has the tools to be a solid regular.

Personally, i don't understand how you can root for a team whose team salary is over 150 million. They don't win ball games they buy them. I really love how the whole schilling and clemens thing has turned out.

I have been looking for information but most sites ignore him bc of Maybin. From what i hear he is in the top 3-5 in the system. From what little i have found he seems to have 80 speed and a great glove.

Does anyone know how his power projects? If he has any weaknesses and who he may remind you of in the majors.

With Cincy considering moving both Griffey and Dunn. It should produce more solid farm guys.

The group that's there is now is promising. We have 3 to 4 guys who could be stars for years to come. Votto, Bruce, Bailey, and Cueto.

Do you think the trade deadline will help the reds more, or will losing Dunn and Griff hurt the system more?
