I came across an interesting story at the SF Chronicle about candidates for political office shamelessly jumping on the Giants' bandwagon.  Clearly, the timing of the election and the World Series lends itself to such shameless exploitation.  And while I am not suggesting anyone should make electoral decisions based on sports fandom, I do believe more info on candidates is good.  The article is written by Joe Garofoli and can be found at:
