My season tickets actually went up!

I'm sure this isn't an message that the Padres FO would like to see.

It's the truth ticket prices went up for games. They also went up for season ticket holders that are not buying full season packages.

After all the hype and BS last week, this is what we get? I opened my packet on Sunday and was ready to send in the cancel notice. The ORG set up expectations through the media this last week that ticket prices were going down. My 20 game package went up $100 per seat, not exactly the 86% that remained the same or went down like Moorad is saying.

This just lets me know that Moorad is going to pull the same crap Alderson did. Spin Spin Spin!

I just got news that my better half is not able to attend the Padres game tonight. I'd hate to see these tickets to waste so I thought I would post on gas lamp ball in hopes that someone could make good use of them.

I realize that it's just the pre season, but the feel of football is in the air and I can tell you I am fired up. I'll be cruising to the game tonight to see a short glimpse of the 1st team. I would expect the defense to get crazy on the seahawks as most of these guys have a point to prove and the seahawks offense isn't what you would call...well good! LOL

Who else is going to the game???

This is a post from Padres.com. The forum tries to get together twice a year and catch a game on TV. I have enjoyed the GLB site and although I realize some of you are not local I wanted to extend the invite. This is the post below.

Madden Hits the Shelves on Thursday Midnight!

Madden 2010 hits the shelves at more retailers Thursday midnight. For anyone that love sports and has had a console at one time or another Madden is the mecca of sports gaming. EA is doing an amazing job of pimping the game via twitter as well.

I think I'll pick it up on Friday and play a bit through the weekend. I was curious who else on the board was planning on picking up the game.

The game does have some amazing features to running a football team that allow you to draft, control the cap, sign free agents and control your coaching staff. New this year is the online franchise mode, this will allow you to take the Bolts online and compete with other players online via xbox or PS3 through numerous seasons. Quite intense I'm sure!

Just one more thing to occupy me until kick off.

Starting in round 31! Today you pick until you can't pick no more!!! The padres are starting off with arms today.

After adding even more depth are 1B yesterday the team also added some speed with two very inexperienced outfielders, with big potential. The Padres are also working on a strong game in the paint adding more size. The Dodgers better watch out cause our bench will go 10 deep soon.

Looks like were about to get under way. Corey Brock just broke the news that the Pads have cleared a spot on the 40 man. Could it be for Tate?

It looks like if the Padres pass on Tate they would be looking at Crow or Matzek

Storm coming back to Petco

I realize that most of you are busy during the day time, but if a handful of people want to go that would be awesome. I have tickets for the evening game, so I think I'm going to just go early and spend the day there and Katie (my lady) will meet me when she gets off work for the evening game. Should be great to see the Storm play.

If anyone is interested in going let me know, I'll see what I can do to get a sweet deal on tickets.
