they were all so much more comfortable with the system by years end. it is overlooked how it was stephenson in that playoff game outplaying albert
Commented on Alex Smith not nervous about KC Chiefs offensive line losses on Apr 22 2014, 2:53p
yep. exactly. a line that consisted of 4 of the 5 players active, then add in his comments about the guys who played against SD, and dominated...and that is taking one of those OL to start in the one open spot. then andy reid comments on keeping extra OL
Commented on Alex Smith not nervous about KC Chiefs offensive line losses on Apr 22 2014, 2:52p - 1 reply
the OL is going to improve, folks
Commented on Alex Smith not nervous about KC Chiefs offensive line losses on Apr 22 2014, 2:50p - 1 reply
yeah, AJ Green or Megatron are obvious. I was trying to go outside the box with mine
Commented on Chiefs mailbag: Which All-Pro player would you pick? on Apr 22 2014, 2:49p
man, that just makes me sad. robbed of life, yes, we were all also robbed of watching some of the best S play in the game.
Commented on Chiefs mailbag: Which All-Pro player would you pick? on Apr 22 2014, 2:47p
I would argue Cooper is already a better player than warfield
Commented on Chiefs mailbag: Which All-Pro player would you pick? on Apr 22 2014, 2:46p
cooper had more PDs than Prince Amukamara had in 3 seasons
Commented on Chiefs mailbag: Which All-Pro player would you pick? on Apr 22 2014, 2:44p
its hard for me to not just go right for JJ Watt as well.

yep. can go with reid "after watkins...."
Commented on Could the Chiefs draft an offensive tackle? on Apr 22 2014, 1:58p
heck yes, draft a tackle? yeah man. just like guard, rounds 3-5 pick one
Commented on Could the Chiefs draft an offensive tackle? on Apr 22 2014, 1:57p
I feel like if you plan to pay smith like one of the best in the game, you take a TE or a WR. pick your poison

at this point ill take the next sean mcgrath

that is kind of amazing.
Commented on Dorsey likes to search odd places for talent on Apr 21 2014, 7:09p
good. he sure can move, the guy needs to handle a bullrush, and put on some weight, get a bigger frame of sorts.
Commented on Andy Reid press conference: Roster and injury updates, conditioning and more on Apr 21 2014, 7:02p
I have to wonder if anyone did not show up. that seems like a bad idea, but it would be interesting if someone just said "no thanks"

high hopes for JMJ, be interesting to see how Harris has progressed as a football player.

or, you draft danny watkins, who was so ready to start. and he fails.
Commented on Chiefs' Eric Fisher had shoulder surgery this offseason on Apr 21 2014, 6:30p - 1 reply
sure, go grab a guard in rd 3 or 4, and a tackle in round 3 4 or 5
Commented on Chiefs' Eric Fisher had shoulder surgery this offseason on Apr 21 2014, 6:30p - 1 reply
yep. really was supposed to play LT anyway. didn't get that trade done.
Commented on Chiefs' Eric Fisher had shoulder surgery this offseason on Apr 21 2014, 6:28p
if he is as bad as last year, there simply is no excuse.
Commented on Chiefs' Eric Fisher had shoulder surgery this offseason on Apr 21 2014, 6:27p
nope. just a 90 man move. got to have more returners for camp as well. can't tire out that "flashy" new WR KC is going to get.

you know you love this
Commented on Kyle Williams re-signs with Kansas City Chiefs on Apr 21 2014, 5:46p - 1 reply
how so though? he is a glorified chad hall at this point. still no one who is a consistent catch guy. put it this way
Commented on Kyle Williams re-signs with Kansas City Chiefs on Apr 21 2014, 5:46p - 1 reply
yep. could be a lot worse.
Commented on Kyle Williams re-signs with Kansas City Chiefs on Apr 21 2014, 5:44p - 1 reply
yes he is, but how much of one. you have to then question why the heck they didn't make a change if he was that big of an upgrade
Commented on Chiefs' Andy Reid addresses two positions of need on Apr 21 2014, 5:43p - 2 replies
definitely not ideal to have your number 1 pick who is all of 23 or whatever, having pretty serious shoulder surgery.
Commented on Chiefs' Eric Fisher had shoulder surgery this offseason on Apr 21 2014, 5:38p - 1 reply
if he can really gain that strength, I have some hope. plus being back at LT, the footwork back to what he is comfortable with
Commented on Chiefs' Eric Fisher had shoulder surgery this offseason on Apr 21 2014, 5:37p - 1 reply
yeesh, hernia. I got faith in 4 of the chiefs 5 starting OL, and saints loves rishaw, fill some depth with a mid round pick and I am a happy camper
Commented on Chiefs' Eric Fisher had shoulder surgery this offseason on Apr 21 2014, 5:35p
don't see that at all. seem confident with rishaw, and alex smith's comments on the OL and what they did to the starters of a playoff team say otherwise
Commented on Chiefs' Eric Fisher had shoulder surgery this offseason on Apr 21 2014, 5:33p - 1 reply
someone needs to tell that to allen bailey.

its nice he has played with Smith. but....90 man move. as of now I don't see him as much more of a threat as a PR than chad hall
Commented on Kyle Williams re-signs with Kansas City Chiefs on Apr 21 2014, 3:35p - 1 reply
I think if anything it should give the front office a real clear picture of who cares and who cares only about that paycheck
Commented on 2014 NFL mock draft: Trades shake things up in the first round on Apr 21 2014, 3:30p
rich get richer, we get more OL for our offense that had Alex Smith throwing to Bowe, Hemmingway, Mcgrath
Commented on 2014 NFL mock draft: Trades shake things up in the first round on Apr 21 2014, 3:29p
yep. I think you can find a nice guard, a big 325 plus pound guard, and maybe a guy to play LT, with 2 of the picks, and not spend that first on the OL
Commented on 2014 NFL mock draft: Trades shake things up in the first round on Apr 21 2014, 3:27p
either they will use this loss as fuel to the fire, or they will simply become part of that fire

yeah, and with catapano as well.....

that is a good point.

if KC takes a guard at 23. as in, don't move back, just stay where they are, and go guard....
Commented on 2014 NFL mock draft: Trades shake things up in the first round on Apr 21 2014, 3:22p - 1 reply
that is nice. he can return punts. although....man....the guy who cost Smith and the 49ers that championship game? yeesh
Commented on 2014 NFL mock draft: Trades shake things up in the first round on Apr 21 2014, 3:18p
aren't we stuck with him even if he has another 600 yard season?
Commented on 2014 NFL mock draft: Trades shake things up in the first round on Apr 21 2014, 3:17p - 1 reply
really? huh, I thought he was a 4.40-4.41, not that it matters
Commented on 2014 NFL mock draft: Trades shake things up in the first round on Apr 21 2014, 3:15p
I really don't. I see WR/TE as just as big of a need, and you can get a guard in rds 3-5
Commented on 2014 NFL mock draft: Trades shake things up in the first round on Apr 21 2014, 3:14p
which makes one ask...does he even WANT to stay in KC long term?
Commented on 2014 NFL mock draft: Trades shake things up in the first round on Apr 21 2014, 3:12p
I think with owens signed too, the fact that ron parker is still under contract

its not that big of a deal, but moving the draft back has me all thrown off. I am ready right NOW to get this draft going
Commented on 2014 NFL mock draft: Trades shake things up in the first round on Apr 21 2014, 3:03p - 2 replies
Briesel, Colledge, both fine options. then use the draft maybe find a S, if there isn't one of value, get the WR position fixed.
Commented on For Rent: Veteran Guard Options for the Chiefs on Apr 19 2014, 4:43p
heck yeah. I'd rather do it than use the 3rd too, 4th-5th ok, but I prefer these options, with rishaw getting competition for RG.
Commented on For Rent: Veteran Guard Options for the Chiefs on Apr 19 2014, 4:42p
so....who is going to play WR for the chiefs this year? your plan has KC with

I think he is a massive bust waiting to happen. massive. huge. he and manziel. I would put money on 1 of the 2 being one of the biggest busts of all time
Commented on The best and worst picks in the top 10 of our 2014 NFL mock draft on Apr 19 2014, 4:09p
greg little would be a freaking upgrade on the chiefs
Commented on The best and worst picks in the top 10 of our 2014 NFL mock draft on Apr 19 2014, 4:08p
you basically are going to just continue with the hate on WR's and anyone who wants a WR aren't you?
Commented on Here's why Brandin Cooks fits the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2014 NFL Draft on Apr 19 2014, 4:05p
yeah, agree. sadly as you say, its just so hard to plan or count on that. who wouldn't love a trade back
Commented on Here's why Brandin Cooks fits the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2014 NFL Draft on Apr 19 2014, 4:01p
since that is totally what people are saying.

yeah, they just unfortunately are in a situation where they have to at some point, or that is going to be one ugly group
Commented on Draft Science 2014 - the WRs on Apr 18 2014, 3:07p - 2 replies
yeah, to me, when a list like that shows up, what, maybe half if lucky have a solid career
Commented on Draft Science 2014 - the WRs on Apr 18 2014, 3:06p - 1 reply
right, that is for every position, the olb's have 0 sacks, so on, so forth. so its really kind of just another thing I have to put in a post now to cover my ass.
Commented on Draft Science 2014 - the WRs on Apr 18 2014, 3:03p
yeah, but it seems like S/WR is a kelly move. I think he wants to save face over losing jackson, so if he has a shot to take cooks, he will do it
Commented on Draft Science 2014 - the WRs on Apr 18 2014, 2:59p - 1 reply
exactly. no one is really being overlooked, I think when it comes to WR's, its just hard because we don't know what will be there late in rd 3
Commented on Draft Science 2014 - the WRs on Apr 18 2014, 2:58p - 1 reply
yeah, I fear both will be gone. I wonder how much it would cost to move to 21.
Commented on Draft Science 2014 - the WRs on Apr 18 2014, 2:57p - 1 reply
agree completely. plus, someone is going to use his PR ability the right way. he would be a star in toub's system
Commented on Draft Science 2014 - the WRs on Apr 18 2014, 2:56p
to me...lee is far and away the most likely to bust

Dressler-0 career NFL catches, Hemmingway 13 career NFL Catches Jenkins- 8
Commented on Draft Science 2014 - the WRs on Apr 18 2014, 2:55p - 1 reply
depends how deep that WR group is, and since they need the smaller slot type guy, they are really getting the 1 or 2 guy at that spot
Commented on Draft Science 2014 - the WRs on Apr 18 2014, 2:51p
he needs to let the ball bounce off his shoulder pads in crunch time to really fit in, with the KC WR group
Commented on Here's why Brandin Cooks fits the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2014 NFL Draft on Apr 18 2014, 2:02p
guy is a 1st rd talent who runs a 4.33, I think the hype is warrented.
Commented on Here's why Brandin Cooks fits the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2014 NFL Draft on Apr 18 2014, 2:01p - 1 reply
yeah, but that isn't how reid has worked in the past. he drafts players to play them
Commented on Here's why Brandin Cooks fits the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2014 NFL Draft on Apr 18 2014, 2:00p - 2 replies
agree. the top 2 safeties, I would make an argument to add Jimmie Ward to the list if they can move back a bit
Commented on Here's why Brandin Cooks fits the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2014 NFL Draft on Apr 18 2014, 1:58p
trade up for him, won't cost that much, will secure the player. I think he would give KC a replacement for mccluster's 50-60 catches
Commented on Here's why Brandin Cooks fits the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2014 NFL Draft on Apr 18 2014, 1:56p - 1 reply
yeah, I worry about waiting until the third to replace what was a very important part of the offense, converting third downs, I expect even more out of the position with a real WR there.
Commented on 2014 NFL mock draft roundup: All over the board for the Chiefs on Apr 18 2014, 6:11a
wait. wtf are you talking about. why the heck does a rookie WR have to take avery's snaps too. KC plays enough 3 wide, mccluster caught 50-60 passes not taking avery's snaps or playing that position.
