Looks like Justin Favors - a TE from Trotwood, OH (Speedy and/or Rippy's alma matter?) has committed to CU.  Per ESPN (Scout) he is ranked as the 35th best TE in the nation.  He's listed at 6'4" and ~225 lbs. 

TE has been a position of strength this year and historically for the Buffs and we will need the assistance next year after losing 4 seniors, including Patrick Devenny and Riar Geer.

If true, I really hope Evans or Lobato can step it up.  I can only bear to watch so much more Cody...  This is really puzzling, as we hear the talent competing for the #3 spot was so far behind Hansen/Hawkins.  If Hansen uses his RS this year, who is the #2?

BOULDER — Colorado sophomore quarterback Tyler Hansen said Monday that he plans to redshirt this season.

"It's something me and Kees (offensive coordinator Eric Kiesau) agreed upon," said Hansen, who burned a redshirt at midseason in 2008.

Hansen said he would give up the redshirt again if starter Cody Hawkins gets injured.
