He knows football and I was really impressed watching some shows he did.   I reallly cant imagine him turning down the opportunity to coach at some level unless he is just done. I look back on these years and base my memories on certain events. I I can always recollect on certain sporting events to spark old thoughts.  That being said I want to thank #5 for keeping me interested every week. Helping me talk shit to these sorry ass Cowboy fans and all other fans in general. I have been in the Army for 20 years now and remember where I was and who I was with watching those games in tents shacks and internet locals. You will be missed but no more than Dawkins, Carmicheal,Quick and Montgomery. You are family but in a second cousin sort of way. I am glad this whole ordeal is moving forward and Kolb doesnt fuck this up too bad. They better get the Defense fixed or were fucked yet again............  Just a side note the Eagles trade picks and move in to the top 15 on Draft day.............

I dont know about you guys but the skins are really setting themselves up for a turn around. Larry Johnson, Clinton Portis and Willie Parker. Thats a tandem that the NFC East hasnt had to deal with. Dallas has some good backs but this is rediculous in my opinion. I see the skins vastley improving this year with the Giants and Eagles still looking for the big improvement. I really hope we kill on draft day

I was reading the article about the needs of the Bills and as much as I want some miraculous Superstar too show up every year. (as T.O. did in 2004) I cant imagine McNabb not being on the Eagles. I mean BDAWK and Westy is a hard pill to swallow but # 5? I remember losing Vincent and Taylor, two guys I really respected but they helped Lito and Sheldon at the time they were here even as they knew they were on the way out. I know time doesnt stop and I actually remember the Glory days of 1980 thru 1985 with Philadelphia  competing at the highest levels in all sports. If McNabb goes I wish him the best of luck and want to thank him for the highs and wont worry about the lows. We will keep on keeping on because thats what we do here in Philly. He will always be an Eagle and he is the Best QB in the history of the Eagles. That goes all the way back to the Frankfort YellowJackets.......................if you didnt know!!

So BigBen is going to be in court again due to some devious behavior. I am guessing we can move a QB thier way. The SHitsburg is a good team and all three QB's would be a good fit. I think the Phils can go 17-5 through April. Winning 115 games throughout the season! This season is going to be a culmination of the last 2 years! Roy and Cole having 20 wins each with Blanton getting 18. We have all the pieces enplaced to set all sorts of records. I see the Mets and the Braves resurging this year but not to the level of Philly. Here is to the third year in the World Series!

Trade McNabb now or it may bite us! We may get caught with our pants down and he just signs with a new team. With this season being uncapped and so much uncertainity we can still draft a QB start Kolb and use Vick in relief. Lets unleash the new era of the Birds! The only Team in history to win back to back Championships with shutouts!  As some of you know whom I have had the pleasure of trding jabs with on BGN I am a Soldier. I havent spent more than 30 days in Philly at on time since the summer of 1990. One thing I miss is watching all the sports teams from my birthplace.(Bristol)  As an huge fan, so far from home I can tell you watching the inconstistancy of Philly is the persona of the teams in our city. Rocky getting knocked down and climbing back on his feet is exactly who we are. People should stop with the negetive blame on McNabb or Reid. Its a team effort and sometimes you are outplayed. The point is you get up and try again  not making the same mistakes. We are lucky to have the teams we do. We seem to get into the playoffs every year. We get so excited, knowing in the back of your mind it may implode at any moment. It adds to the pride when we get that TD or winning goal, late inning heroics and that save! I am proud of my city, proud of the people who call it home and proud of my teams. Rocky lives in every one of us and we will get that knockout no matter how many rounds!!!!!!!! See you in Dec, I get to come home for Christmas surrounded by the Green Nation! Phillies need 5 and the Eagles need 12!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 According the article, Rucker was released by Cleveland tuesday and because of our shortage at the TE position we are looking at signing him. He played with Missouri with a run and gun offense very similar to the passing style Andy runs. Does anyone have any dirt on this this can share?

Who do we cut to sign him?

IMHO depending on #5 we may cut Garcia already. This season is very impressive to me with all the moving chess pieces being played. I have been a lifetime Eagles fan and I cant remember it being this crazy. It makes everyday worth logging on to BGN.

Just a note, I am deployed to Iraq for the second time, the first time was 2004 the season we went to the big game! History tends to repeat itself only we need to win this time!!!!!!!!!  Phillies 2peat and Eagles win!!!!!! Great time to be from the greatest state in America!

You know the Chiefs suck, but Kolb is definetly showing his value after two strong starts. We know Westbrook diidnt get the extension and his ankle is shot. He may retire after next season honestly. We could still get a huge payback by trading #5 and you know that is in the back of his mind now more than ever. I love the Eagles and defend #5 everyday from the scores of haters around me. You truly know your getting old when you watch a guy get drafted and he plays 11-12 years and moves on.

 The Eagles are truly set up for the next 5 years if you think about the talent they have on both sides of the ball. We could score some high draft picks and playmakers with DMAC,Vick and Westy. High impact players, or another rookie QB too learn his job before he gets thrown to the wolves.

Right now we may have the best group of Quarterback's in NFL history playing at the same time.(That is in the NFL as a whole, Brady, the Mannings,DMAC,Flacco,Warner,Rothleisberger,Favre,Sanchez,Kolb!! ect.) Some may not have longevity yet but damn they are some gamers.

Yes this is just a thought!

Biggest Killer??????????????? Shortfields and turnovers! Penalties and Secondary against the QB who throws like Madden 2010! I knew it was gonna be crazy but Kolb threw for 400 yards. His turnovers hurt but werent the reason all in all for the tarring. I am looking forward to the Eagles going undefeated the rest of the season. We have DMAC, the Human Joystick and old warrior Gmannn!!!!!  We need to shore up the Secondary and stop giving the field away!

First I want to say hello from outside Bagdad, trying to keep the haters to a minimum! Here is something about nothing for all you Philly diehards. Hamels and Lidge need to get there heads cleared up, you have jamie and Pedro who have about 35 years of experience between them.Use their experience to help these kids. They may be thinking about last year and the success they had instead of the now. Without them it is gonna be painful, and you got to ride this offensive titan with good numbers. Second thing on my mind is the Eagles giving Vick a shot. I am behind them! Enough said. Third and finally is this Lift the ban on PETE ROSE, he is a freakin hero and anyone in there late 30's early 40's knows what I am saying. First as a lifelong Birds fan, lets do it this year! The sincere comments about the King of Pop were right on point. He did have some issues as everyone does. I bet you would find in a poll at least 90% of all Americans have attempted to moonwalk or try the thriller dance at leat once. Then of course theres the crouch grab or some other subtle dance move he has done since the 60's. I find it a shame he had such a estranged personality, being in the limelight for 40 years would make anyone crazy. Most stars cant handle it as adults. I hope #05 rocks the thriller 60 time this season and at least 20 times aqainst the NFC east. I am on my 19th year in the Infantry and have defended my city and will defend my city. You can take the kid outta philly but the smell of cheesesteaks and soft pretzels never ever goes away!
