During Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals, Udonis Haslem saw his co-captain Dwyane Wade fall bleeding at his feet after Tyler Hansbrough's hard foul. "Ok," he says. "That's how it is going to be tonight? OK. Let's do that then." Haslem refused to let Wade take a hit without doing anything about it. Someone was going to pay for it.
"It is all fun and games to beat up the Heat in the media, to say the Heat are soft," said Haslem, "But as soon as the Heat take a stand and hit back, it’s not funny anymore. Rabbit hunting is fun. But it ain’t funny when the rabbit has the gun." Basically he meant to foul Hansbrough in the manner that he did. He would do it again, too, if given the chance all over. This shows how much Wade means to UD. " I can't imagine anything I wouldn't do for Dwayne."

The NBA fined Miami coach Erik Spoelstra $25,000 on Friday for "critical public comments'' about officiating in the Eastern Conference series with Indiana. Hours before the Heat beat the Pacers in Game 6 Spoelstra made the comments quoted by several media outlets saying the NBA "does not have a problem'' with Indiana committing hard fouls on Heat stars LeBron James and Dwyane Wade. Spoelstra said he counted more than 12 times where Heat players were hit in the face by the Pacers this season. "The league does not have a problem with hard fouls on our two main guys,"
