My trip to Vero in photos and talk

My dad and I drove across the state to see the Vero Beach Rays (and David Price) play the Sarasota Reds.

We went to see Rays prospect David Price. This was not Price's best start as he gave up a ton of hits. One positive though was the fact he only gave up 3 runs and had 11 hits. He showed composure in not allowing the runners to score once they got on. This game could have easily been a blow out but Price would step up at the right time.

The other prospect who impressed me was OF Desmond Jennings. He did not have a challenge in the outfield making a couple routine catches. He went 0-2 with two walks and a stolen base. When DJ gets on base he is a trouble for the other team and causes attention. His eye was great and should be valuable for he seems to be a future lead off hitter. He showed some power on a foul ball where he was just early but hit it a mile.

All in all there is a rising sun of talent in the FSL.

As a side note the stadium is very interesting as the dugout has no roof over it. Therefore you can sit behind the players which adds a cool experience.

This is for people who wanna talk NBA Finals. I am rooting for the Lakers. I think they will win in 6. I need more words so I am going to suggest you look up the videos of Kobe jumping over car and pool of snakes. Oh and Boston sucks. and I now need 25 more words so... I believe if the Rays take 2 of 3 from Texas they will be doing fine and hopefully can take some from the Angels also.
