My wife and son and I are thinking about heading up to Davenport on Sunday to see Mulder assuming that the start goes forward.  We were going to be in Chicago for the weekend, and figured a detour on our way back to St. Louis might be a fun outing.

I wanted to see if anyone reading here had been to Quad Cities before and had any advice about local things to see, hotels to stay at, pecularities to look for at the park, etc.

Upon walking into the stadium last night, I commented to my seatmate that I felt as if I had entered some odd timespace warp and was in a foreign city.  As we walked in through the left field entrance and to our (poorer - more on this later) row 19 seats in section 595, I really felt as if I were in Philadelphia, or Pittsburgh, or any place other than St. Louis.  It will definitely take some time getting adjusted to the new stadium to the point where it feels like "home."
