Downtown Hotel
Anybody know any tricks to getting a hotel room downtown when they are all apparently booked? I dragged my feet and waited too long to look into a hotel for the night of August 14th (cards/cubs game). We prefer to stay downtown to avoid driving and cabs, but it looks like we're screwed. When I say "we" I mean 4 of us looking for 2 hotel rooms.
What can the Pain Guy tell us about this promising young prospect's form?

The local sports radio show accepted caller suggestions for their new intro song. Do the Cardinals have any interest in either of these guys? Should they? A starting left handed pitcher and a short stop seem like possible needs/wants for the Cardinals. I guess it will be interesting to hear what they will ask for, as far as bonuses. (I've never tried a fanshot or post before, so hopefully this turns out ok. if not, feel free to delete)
