ESPN's "College GameDay" is coming to Air Force Academy for the Air Force -- Army game on Nov. 7.

Next week’s game will mark the third time "College GameDay" has broadcast from the Academy. The crew was there in 2001 for the Army game and in 2002 for the contest against Notre Dame. "College GameDay" will kickoff a week of programming in conjunction with Veterans Day.

Living here in St. Louis I seldom have the opportunity to greet anyone with a "roll tide" who doesn't look at me like I'm crazy.  Today was different.  I read an article earlier this week about a 10 year old golf phenom named Crimson Callahan who lives in this area.  You can watch a video about him here...

I actually met he and his father today while on the golf course.  After reading his story and seeing this video I had to introduce myself.  They were both just as nice and respectful in person as they were in the video.  It was also quite nice to be able to say "Roll Tide" to someone and hear it repeated back without an explanation or strange look.  That made my day.  Roll Tide everyone.  :)

I don't know who is he or how he does what he does, but the man should have his own TV show or something.    For those of you who missed the first one, I posted it last week in the fanshot section of this blog.  Blah blah blah, 75 words.

Basically, Kiffin is slinging a little mud post NSD at Meyer by accusing him of a recruiting violation. The man has some amazingly large balls for someone who has yet to coach a single game in the SEC.  He also seems to be doing his best to alienate himself to the rest of the coaches in the SEC.

So I ask... is he a complete masochistic moron who is looking forward to the score being run up against his team next year... OR

Is he the 2nd coming of Spurrier and is simply pushing the buttons of the coaches he deems to be beneth him.  (e.g. Spurriers famous quip that you can't spell Citrus wihout UT... I love that line.) 

Either way... The guy is an ass.

Kiffin has now issued a formal apology after being informed by Florida's AD AND Mike Slive (Comissioner of the SEC) that he was, in fact, completely wrong.

Found a great story about the AP voter from 92 that had us number 1 on his ballot for the entire season.  I was in the marching band in 92 and remember him being part of the championship festivities in T-town. 

The strange thing about this for me is that I was telling my wife about him just last week.  Any way... great article about a great guy.
