Hey, listen closely....................rumor is, there is still an orange-out on Feb.14th.  You know what I mean, when everyone shows up to the Dome, wearing orange, cheering for the Orange.   Its the Georgetown game I believe, on Feb. 14th.  Keep your fingers crossed that we beat W. Virginia on Wednesday.  We need to split Villanova/Uconn and then we will ORANGE THE HELL OUT OF THE G'TOWN GAME ON FEB 14th.  Its on like Donkey Kong!

TIME TO GROW UP AND LEARN HOW TO PLAY ON THE ROAD.

It doesnt take a Digger Phelps, a Jay Bilas, or a Jim Boeheim to see that this team needs to grow up and learn how to play on the road.  Did someone promise our players cake after the game if we flared our arms, threw some elbows, and accentuated our motions? THE BIG EAST IS NOT A GOD DAMN CAKEWALK.  If we can't find the killer instinct within us on the road, then expect us to be killed on the road, like tonight.  Where was the physical play by Onuaku?  Can we set a pick, maybe? How about a screen? How about some movement of offense? How about some arms up, for christs sake on defense? Don't let Pitt move through the lane like its the express lane at Wegmans.  Once again, in a game that mattered, we became "road kill" to a team that we could have beat.  Albeit the refs were in Jamie Dixons pocket from the beginning of the game until the end; no excuse exist for the lackadaisical play of Syracuse.  As if all the player awoke in some sort of nightmare, not sure if they were capable of emotion, not soon to awake, shocked that this was actually happening.  Similiar to the Georgetown affair, its ats if no one believed, or maybe we just believed the nightmare would just stop and we would some how win.  Guess what, it wasnt a nightmare, it was effing reality, again!  We have to believe, from the get go, that we are going to lose if we dont outplay, out hustle, out shoot, out rebound, out defend, just out the other team completely, if we are going to win.  We have to come out alive, like we just drank 3 Five Hour Energy's,  and play alive.  Enough of this "we belong here look". Its time we come out with "I have something to god damn prove, god damn it, try and stop me" look.  We have to prove ourselves against the upper echelon of the Big East.  We have to show everyone in the country that we are deserving of our top ten rank, which at this point is arguable, again.  We  have another chance to prove something against Louisville, at home, this Sunday. Thank god we are home..........we are alive at home (e.g. Notre Dame).  I hope we wake up.............

Orange Out The Dome.Com has launched.  The site is not 100% complete, buts its not too shabby either.  Be sure and check it out.  New things wil be added everyday, but the ultimate goal of the site is simply to Orange-out the Dome on Feb. 14th.  It will take effort from all of us fans to pull this grassroots movement off! Make sure you tell everyone you know about the site, but most importantly  make sure you tell everyone you know that is going to the game on Feb 14th to be wearing ORANGE!  The Notre Dame game was awesome, and peering over from my seat in 212 at the oranged-out student section just made me want this goal even more! It will be so amazing!

So, I'm listening to the Jim Boeheim show earlier tonight and I'm losing myself in thought as I wonder if it is possible for JB to be less interested in talking to what must be the largest collection of moronic fans possible.  Fans that have the nerve to question JB on play calling, substitutions, and coaching in general.  After 10mins I realize they obviously are doing a poor job of screening the callers; then it hits me.  I should call in and talk about the ORANGEOUTTHEDOME (details available at www.orangeoutthedome.com) with Jim.  So I do.  Thats when the bomb is dropped.  I ask Jim what he thinks about the grass roots campaign to orange out the dome on Feb. 14th.  Jim replys with, "Do you mean the white out?"  I said, "White out, no - we are are the Orange, we MUST orange out the dome."  Jim replies, "Well I heard we were getting white t-shirts to "white out" the Villanova game................" 

WHITE OUT?  What the hell is a white out?  I mean I'm okay with the idea of a white out, but only after the ORANGE OUT! 

WE ARE THE SYRACUSE ORANGE, RIGHT????????

The website is in the works.  The ball is rolling! The full blown website should be up and running by Saturday - but the site is up now.  Daryl Gross said "I have the marketing team working on it" on the Axeman show today.  I will make sure he does, we will see this thing through! Its about time we show the country that we are the BEST FANS in the country! Some of you "fans" will have to step up your game to prove this, others, like myself, just need to be at the Dome (business as usual)

ORANGE OUT THE DOME! YOU MUST WEAR ORANGE TO THE DOME ON FEB 14th FOR THE GEORGETOWN GAME!  MAYBE THE UNIVERSITY WILL STEP UP AND HAND OUT ORANGE TOWELS OR SOMETHING FOR US ALL TO WAVE!

It would look AWESOME on TV, and hopefully College Gameday will be there that day! What do you say???????
