SN: Big East teams will fail to make Final Four
Wow, what a gutsy prediction.
Look who just made the Bottom 10

Just in case anyone was wondering about G-Rob's day
You know, since I saw his name brought up a couple of times in the USF game thread I figured we would check in and see how his day went...well, not good.
http://scores.espn.go.com/ncf/boxscore?gameId=302820130
His defense gave up 536 yards (249 rushing / 287 passing), 37 points & 0 takeaways to Michigan St.
Man, I am no Michigan fan by any stretch of the imagination, but they have to get rid of him ASAP. It is starting to get painful to watch. I hope they can fire him mid-season and recover some form of defense cause I can't stand a bad defense.
Did I just read this?
I must be going crazy, or something is wrong with my laptop. Cause I swear the Poliquin article on syracuse.com just had the same statement repeated 50 times, ala Bart in the opening sequence of the Simpsons.
See for yourself: Here

I mean, the quality of syracuse.com can be sketchy at times, but this....well, I really can not believe what I just read.
Question about AdBlock and this site
Sean,
Do you (or this site) benefit from having Adblock plus turned off (or not installed at all)? I know this site is part of the whole SBNation and I don't fully grasp the concept of how your ownership of this blog fits in compared to the ownership by SportsNation.
Essentially, do you do this for free? Would disabling AdBlock help you at all? Probably could have done this via private message, but I think quite a few people use AdBlock for normal browsing and perhaps the answer would concern may more folks besides me.
McNabb meet Locker Boy
Chris Cooley and friends wanted to surprise their newest Redskin teammate McNabb, with a random white kid leaping out of his locker. McNabb's reaction is classic goofy, smiling Donovan.
Kid's lucky McNabb didn't go all Phily on his ass. TO tried that stunt once, but instead of a kid, TO used Drew Rosenhaus.

Wes' New Jersey nightmare may not occur
http://sports.espn.go.com/new-york/nba/news/story?id=5322297
This has him being looked over by the Nets (thank goodness) for GT's Favors, leaving a Flynn/Wes combo still highly possible. Nothing personal against NJ, I don't hate the state or nothing but the Nets are a terrible team (almost the worst in American sports history) and with the owner talk swirling around, they aren't looking to get much better soon.
So, Wes, I think you dodged a bullet...now, just avoid the dreaded Clippers Curse and I think we will be happy no matter where (else) you land.
Texas and A&M on their way to Big 10

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- High level sources in multiple conferences have told KCTV5 that Texas and Texas A&M are looking to move to the Big Ten Conference and are in talks to join the conference, while the University of Oklahoma is planning on petitioning the Southeastern Conference to become a member of its conference.
KCTV5's sources said that Texas and Texas A&M do not have to include Texas Tech or Baylor in their plans. Sources told KCTV5 that there have already been discussions about the two schools entering the Big Ten and that the agreement could be made as soon as Thursday.Oklahoma is currently working on petitioning to enter the SEC, but must find another university to enter the league with them, sources said. TMZ Sports has reported that Oklahoma State is likely to accept a bid to move to the Pac-10. Earlier Thursday, Colorado accepted an invitation to join the Pac-10.790 the Zone in Atlanta reported Thursday afternoon that the SEC is offering invitations to Texas A&M and Virginia Tech to join the conference.KCTV5's sources also said that some Big 12 officials are saying decisions on which deals Big 12 schools take invitations by the end of the day Thursday, although the deals may not be officially announced. Those decisions would leave the University of Kansas, Kansas State University and the University of Missouri with Baylor, Texas Tech and Iowa State in the Big 12. The Missouri Board of Curators met Thursday and planned to meet Friday to discuss the future of Missouri sports.

Oh boy, there goes two of the B10 slots. I thought Texas and company were on their way to the PAC-10 (following Colorado) not B10. This might change things a bit in SU's chances of getting pulled into the B10. I think this is just the tip of the iceberg in the conference reshuffling (as others have mentioned) and we will be down to 4 super-conferences by the end of the World Cup.
So, does SU still gets into the B10 now? Personally, I don't think so. With this move I think the geography issue is now certainly against the B10 as compared to the ACC. But, weirder things have happened.
