Vikings Game DVD's

Does anyone record and burn Viking games to DVD?

I have some classics on DVD, like the Adrian Peterson 296 against the Chargers, Vikes destroy Packers in the playoffs, etc. but now I am looking for the Vikes/49ers game as well.

Anyone?

Thanking you in advance,

Sackman

Minnesota Vikings at Lambeau Field questions

Hi Packer Nation! I love the blog! Just as I love the Daily Norseman, Acme Packaging Company is a great place for me to get info and views on the green and gold. I am a longtime peeper and first time poster that will be joining many of you at Lambeau for the Vikings game accompanied with my girlfriend on November 1st. I am looking for a few questions to be answered since I have never been to your beautiful city.

#1 - I heard that Milwaukee gets 2 home games a year. First off, is this true? Secondly, is this a Milwaukee game? Thirdly, how are the fans compared to the Green Bay fans?

#2 - What are some good restaurants in and around Green Bay that you would recommend? I would like all of your favorites…Cheap places as well as steakhouses. I would like to try a few of them!

#3 - We are staying in the The Holiday Inn City Centre. Would you recommend us taking a shuttle, or driving to the game? We will most likely bring a cooler full of beverage and probably just eat inside.

#4 - What is a good local bar to go to? I am too old for clubs. I like unique places, places that stand out, or pubs with nice beer selections.

#5 - What are some good live local bands that play around? I like rock music. Pretty much all types of rock, alternative, pop, funky, whatever. What about a good venue to see them play live?

#6 - Where is the best vantage point of the Green Bay Skyline?

#7 - How far is Door County? Is it worth going to see? We are thinking about staying there for one night.

#8 - Bloody Mary's and breakfast. Who makes the best bloody Mary, and what are some good breakfast joints?

#9 - Are there any "Best of Green Bay" sites or links that you could tell me about?

#10 - Anything else that you would recommend an out-of-towner to see or do? Historic places (non-football as well)?

Thank you all VERY MUCH for your help.

The DN 2009 Mock Draft Database

Last year we had "The DN 2008 Mock Draft Database" that turned out to be unnecessary because we traded our first rounder for the almighty Jared Allen.

However, it looks as the Vikes will be picking at 22 this year and I am wondering if anyone will be putting together a Minnesota Vikings Mock Draft Database.

Was that you last year Gonz? Musta been you since it was before you had help around here.

Will you be creating another this year?

I searched around the net and found some Redskin and other databases, but no Vikes.

Anyone know of any?

I like to see the percentages of all the mocks online for a wide perspective and to try and gage what will be happening on Saturday.

Let me know!

Thanking you in advance,

Sackman

Vikings vs Jaguars questionnaire

Hi Jags fans!
Whats up?

I have a few questions regarding tailgating, things to do, and places to eat in your beautiful city of Jacksonville.

My girlfriend and I are coming down in November to see our Vikes play your Jags.
In addition to being a long time season ticket holder of the Vikings, I travel once a year to see the Vikes get beat on the road.
Er…I mean, to see the Vikes PLAY on the road.
Whatever.
This year, we will be making the trip down to Jacksonville!

I will be staying in Jacksonville for 4 days and would like some advice as to what to do and where to go.
I have a bunch of questions for you, so here we go:

#1 - Where should we park to tailgate at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium?
What price range will it be?
Do we need a parking pass to tailgate?

#2 - Have any of you been on a Jacksonville Municipal Stadium Tour?
Would you recommend it?

#3 - What are some good restaurants in Jacksonville that you would recommend? I would like all of your favorites…Cheap places as well as steakhouses. I would like to try a few of them!

#6 - Where is the best vantage point of the Jacksonville Skyline? What about a bar patio with a great view?

#7 - What are the best beaches to visit?

#8 - Bloody Mary's and breakfast. Who makes the best bloody Mary, and what are some good breakfast joints?

#9 - Are there any "Best of Jacksonville" sites or links that you could tell me about?

#10 - Anything else that you would recommend an out-of-towner to see or do?

Thank you VERY MUCH for your help.

Vikings vs Bucs questionnaire

Hi Bucs fans!
What's up??

I have a few questions regarding tailgating, things to do, and places to eat in your beautiful city of Tampa.

My girlfriend and I are coming down in November to see our Vikes play your Bucs.
In addition to being a long time season ticket holder of the Vikings, I travel once a year to see the Vikes get beat on the road.
Er…I mean, to see the Vikes PLAY on the road.
Whatever.
I have wanted to visit Raymond James since they opened it. It looks like a great place to see live football.
I also have been a big Bucs follower due to them being in the old Central division.
I was rooting for the Bucs when they made the Superbowl as well.

I will be staying in Tampa and Clearwater for 4 to 5 days and would like some advice as to what to do and where to go.
I have a bunch of questions for you, so here we go:

#1 - Where should we park to tailgate at Raymond James Stadium?
What price range will it be?
Do we need a parking pass to tailgate?

#2 - Is there anything inside (or by) the ship (inside RJS) that we should go see?
Have any of you been on a RJS Tour?
Would you recommend it?

#3 - What are some good restaurants in Tampa and Clearwater that you would recommend? I would like all of your favorites…Cheap places as well as steakhouses. I would like to try a few of them!
