A very brief conversation with the mom of Cord Parks
Hey Who Dats!
I was recently out with some friends having a few well earned margaritas when I just happened to bump into the mother of the newest member of the Saints secondary Cord Parks. This very proud mom (as all NFL moms should be) had nothing, but stellar things to say about Saints organization and how her son felt is was so much of a family atmosphere. I'm sure it was just because of the loud restaurant that she didn't respond to my question of did she have her black and gold attire picked out, but she certainly was glad to have a her son as a member of the Saints organizaiton and she mentioned that her son was glad to be under Coach Spag again. Not that my opninion matters, but she seemed happy when I stated that "I do" see her son making the final squad and being a dime or quarter package corner in addition to contrbuting on special team. She indicated he was just happy to be there. Being that we are both living in Atlanta, I asked her how many games did she plan on catching this year and of course the first game that came up was the Falcons game. I told her that hopefully I bump into her again while we're celebrating a big win over the dirty birds!
Just thought I'd share! Geaux Saints and good luck Cord!
Crazy, Mad, Ridiculous Support from Other NFL Fans
Hey Who Dats! This weekend I was traveling and due to my running late, I threw on my favorite SuperBowl Champion Saints hat and made my way to the airport. As usual, I missed my flight which gave me the opportunity to partake in my 3rd favorite past time (2nd favorite is of course NFL football and the 1st can't be discussed on this site) at the airport bar. A guy comes up to me and starts asking me "when we we're going to quit crying?" and when we were gonna "accept the consequences of our actions"? Before I stick my fleur de lis up his (Censored). A couple of guys immediately jumped in and began bashing him for being a "Roger Goodell Flunky"! These 2 guys were Steelers fans and have made it clear that Goodell is the equivalent of the anti-christ in Steel City! A woman joins in on the conversation and she was a Patriots fan and she jumped on the "where is the alleged evidence bandwagon". The strangest thing came from the next fans who got involved....a Packer fan and the most shocking of all the bartenders who were die hard Falcons fans. The bartender said "normally, I'm for anything that would burn that black and gold banner, but this is crap". The Packer fan was a Brett Favre fanatic and said that he saw nothing that was done that he didn't describe as "football". A Laker's fan joined in and likened Goodell to David Stern and suggested how we should start a pool to have them "whacked". To sum it all up....there were about a dozen people jumping on this guy (a Dallas fan...which probably explains his willingness to use his free thinking skills) and giving 150% support for the Vilma, Payton and the Saints. Needless to say, that was the best missed flight ever!
Gotta love it....Who Dat!

Pre-Camp Possible Roster Moves by the Saints
A few late post season moves that the Saints could still make!
Thinking about the Saints upcoming Free Agents
This weekend I had a debate with a couple of Saints and non-Saints fans about our upcoming Free Agency situation and who should be a priority. For the record the Saints top free agents are...Drew Brees, Robert Meachem, Carl Nicks, Marques Colston, Tracy Porter, Shaun Rogers and Aubrayo Franklin. As expected, we were all in agreement that Brees is clearly the top priority, but after that we were all in debate. I felt that the our signings should come in the following order of priority...
1. Brees
2. Nicks
3. Colston
4. Franklin
5. Meachem
6. Porter
You'll notice that I didn't list Rogers as I feel that he just ain't worth the money, but wanted to bring it to my CSC brethren and see what you guys think should be the priority of free agents signed.
2012 Predictions for the New Orleans Saints!
Man I'd hate to lose one of our guys, but if we could get Reggie Wayne in place of Meachem I'd take that!
They're already trying to disrepect Brees!
Let me start this off by saying that I'm not a 20 year old kid. I'm a guy who grew up watching football in the 70"s and 80's. I keep hearing about the rules changes and different era, blah, blah, blah and I'm fed up with it. First off, It's not Drew's Fault that he's playing in today's era and not the 80's. I personally think he would've have been just as good then as he is today, but why speculate because we will never know. Besides, I'm sure that there's some 80 or 90 year guys sitting around somewhere saying "those guys in the 70's and 80's had it too good." While another 90 year old is saying "we had it tough in the 50's when you good tackle guys with a sledgehammer!" What we do know is that Drew Brees not only broke the single season passing record, but he is the only person in the history of football with over 5000 passing yards in more than one season and once Tom Brady breaks it (and only say Brady cuz I don't expect Rodgers to break 5k), he will have 2 of the only 4 5K passing seasons in history.
Furthermore, I have been a fan of this team since the beginning! I didn't join the team in the last few years or during the Jim Haslet or Mike Ditka era. The great Dome Patrol didn't bring me to the Saints! I'm a long time fan and if I die at 80 years old just know that I should've been 110 because being pissed at those bad 70's and 80's Saints teams took 30 years off my life. I say this because we true Saints fans deserve this as much as we deserved the Dome Patrol, the Reggie Bush draft, The Superbowl and Drew Brees. Congrats Saints, Drew and Nawlins!

McNabb to Dolphins in 2012?????
I think he's still got a little left in the tank and could teach a young QB a lot.
Matt Forte to Green Bay in 2012? Maybe!
Forte ain't happy and the Pack could be just the revenge he needs.
How about Reggie Wayne in Texans Red & Blue?
Would be a great compliment to Andre Johnson!
Big Name NFL Free Agents in 2012
Reggie Wayne coming home to Nawlins? It could happen!
Despite Jennings Injury The Pack holds Top Spot!
Week 15 NFL Power Rankings!
Could the Prodigal Son Come Home?
