One goal and one goal only today. See those dirty dirt people from Lubbock finally go down and have UT kill the dream.

I hate Lubbock with a passion so great that I have had trouble going to the bathroom for the past few days thinking about this game.

Also not a big deal because KU's season is over already, but rivalry game against K-state today.

Florida and Georgia will tangle and hopefully a few fights will break out since they are playing up Georgia running onto the field last year, will watch just for that.

I hate Texas, but I hate Tech more. An enemy of your enemy is your friend, Hook Em.

Engle Beltre has gone yard. I made the post for this reason and this reason only. Others must take the rest of the reporting duties from this point forward.

Also shroom tittled the AZL rangers pitcher as "Miggy!" so he must be pretty pumped about him.

1.0 ip 0er 1r 2bb 3k's

Runner scored on the account of an error.

All-star games don't matter, HR derby does not matter, only thing that matters his the World Series. Heart of a champion. Lets get some pitching.

So im sitting around the bar at Ozonas last night on Greenville. I am there for a birthday party, but made some new friends at the bar watching the rangers game. So as the drinks start flowing and the game gets down to the final inning.

FOTF does his thing and then Big Daddy comes up to bat, and I make the fateful statement... "If Josh goes yard, someone is getting pregnant tonight." Unfortunatly for me 2 things then occured.

My girlfriend came within earshot of me, and then Josh took care of the rest, setting off a series of events that is now out of my hands.

LITTLE SALTY-G-YARD MIGHT BE ON THE WAY.

Shit......

I hope that asshat Jayslick did not ruin the minor updates for everybody else. But keep on making them, if only because I get alot of use out of them.

Anyways uh..Feliz looks to be dealing, and Harrison is perfect through 1.

Mayberry has gone yard. MaxRam and Andrus both have singles. Chris Davis had two on but he struck out swinging.

Has MaxRam passed up Teagarden in the pecking order of catchers for anyone? Teagarden having bit of a slow start.

Well as a few of you know, those few who actually pay attention to anything I post, know that I goto the University of Kansas. I just got back from San Antonio last night after having celebrated an extra day with the Jayhawk fans.

I arrived in SA on saturday and the atmosphere was just great. Each four schools were well represented with what seemed like UCLA being the least represented by fans, and KU the most, based probably simply on geographic location and the fact that it was in Big 12 country. Each school would rally at certain bars on the riverwalk and yell out their school chants as they walked down the river.

The Semi-Final games were not as electric as I expected. The crowds were pretty tame, probably based on the scores of each game. I was in section 338, which was almost at the other end of the alamodome, but at 300 dollars a ticket, you get what you pay for. The players were hard to see, and you could not see one basket clearly so you did not know if they made or missed shots unless you looked up at the Jumbotrons they had placed at each end, but I was pumped to be there reguardless.

On sunday I got a chance to meet a ton of people, all in the world of basketball mainly. I met former OSU coach sean sutton, who seemed real excited to meet fans, as he just walked around the KU bar greeting people. Then at the Mariot hotel bar there was analyst Len Elmore of ESPN and coach Rick Patino im all sure you are aware of his history, but apparently one guy did not when he yelled out "Oh my god its John Calipari!", and ran up to shake his hand. Then of course all of the ESPN gameday guys, Bilas, Digger, Reese Davis, and Bobby Knight. Knight was extremely nice to all the fans and graciously thanked anybody who talked to him. Interesting side note is we saw "Shwab" from "Stump The Shwab" and he was almost like a grip, just carrying bags and cameras around, basically doing intern work for the gameday guys.

The final game, simply put was intense. I was so nervous and mostly surrounded by Memphis fans in my section. Im sure most of you watched the game or saw the highlights, so you know what went on. I don't know if im extremely lucky or not to have already at the age of 23, been to personally the best sporting event that I will ever witness in my life. You should have seen the fans. Memphis fans go from almost mass hysteria with each second ticking down, to absolute dead silence. When Mario Chalmers made that shot, a sound that I really can't describe, I guess the closest thing would be a sonic boom, just exploded from the massive amounts of Kansas fans.

It was a moment I will never forget for the rest of my life, and I hope everybody has a chance to experience something like that once in their life. Hopefully a Rangers world series will mark it off alot of your guys list.
