Question about Niemann! Plz Help

hey guys, i want to start by saying i am a Pirates fan, and we talked on here quite a bit around the trade deadline last season...

The question i have for you guys today is... How is Niemann doing? Is he going to make the team? Or is he going to have to go to waivers? Or is he available for some kind of bullpen arm?

Bay trade idea

ok... i know the talks are going to be getting very serious over the next 25 hours or so...

I will admit i am a diehard Pirates fan and i want to know if you think this deal would be fair and if not i want to know your trade ideas, i would like to throw ideas back and forth. (also keep in mind, we are hearing the Pirates are holding out for Davis)

So here is my trade idea...

Bay and Grabow to the Rays for Davis, Brignac, Jaso, Talbot.

The thinking behind this, You get Bay who is just a stud (07 was just an injury year) and Grabow who gives you another very solid bullpen arm or can use him as a LOOGY.

Pirates get Davis for the future rotation, Brignac who for 2 years is only been slightly above average looking at his stats, Jaso could be an up and coming catcher and Talbot could be a good back end of the rotation type starter. (Jaso and Talbot) will be 25 soon. So i look forward to your thoughts

Pirates scouting Price??

A Pirates scout watched David Price's last start, though he was likely looking at other members of the Montgomery Biscuits. The Rays are known to be interested in Xavier Nady. So i am a big Pirates fan, and i must say this intrigued me. But the only way i could see us even coming close to prying him away it would have to be Bay and Marte... So what are you guys thinking, i know you will all shoot it down, but play the what if and if so... what deal could you see?

Jason Bay's Trade Value

ok, i dont really know where to post this, but i am curious as to what all of you on here think. This offseason the Pirates decided to wait on trading Jason Bay cause he had a down year due to his knees. Well he is healthy now and he is playing extremely well...

He has an OBP of over .400 and is hitting .290 he is OPSing around .950... he has 12HR to go along with that.

So what i am asking is what do you think is fair in return as far as prospects? Do you think your team could use him? If so what prospects could we get from your team?
