Liddi, first Italian in the Major League
After paying his dues for six seasons, the 23-year-old gets the call from the Mariners. And makes history. Here's how he did it
Is this the best .gif collection ever?
Prety good presentation too.

Twins reach one year agreement with Orlando Hudson
So much for his availability in case of a Jose Lopez trade.
Raji tested positive
There goes your favorite pick for 20:
Defensive tackle B.J. Raji, whose draft stock has soared over the past six months, had a positive drug test at February's combine, NFL team sources have told SI.com. It's unknown to SI.com which drug triggered the positive result, but NFL scouts were made aware before the 2008 season that Raji had tested positive for marijuana during his time at Boston College.

New Logo leaked
Seems like there is a truck out in NFL shop with the new logo on it.

This came via MLive Highlightreel I found it on Lionsredzone.

Well, it's been a long road of rumor, innuendo and speculation. But I think we've finally found the missing link.
Not so much in terms of human evolution, but at least in terms of the new Detroit Lions logo.
Thanks to Jim, who sent me an e-mail about his detective work, we have a pretty reliable image of the Lions logo. It comes directly from NFL.com. (And Jim, I owe you a beer of your choice!)
If you search by team and check out the new arrivals, you'll see a big rig with "Lions" written across the trailer and a slightly redesigned Bubbles logo. Or you can just click here. (Be sure to enlarge the image)"
Q&A with Barry Sanders
This is his most interesting answer:
Sanders: Yeah. [Laughs] That's interesting. It's very interesting how things have played out. I don't know what the answer is. I don't even necessarily know what the problem is, but it is worth mentioning their track record. Obviously, without knowing all the details of their current situation, the teams that really, really want to win, they win. They find a way to win. I really believe that. It may not be year after year, they may have an off year here or there, but eventually they find a way to get back there. So somewhere along the lines in the chain of command there with the Lions, someone may not want to win that bad.
All in all a very good read
WTF MLB.TV??
Now they show an advertisement before they start the stream. And I even have to watch it when I want to change the stream to an other quality? Are they out of their mind? I mean we pay for that. (although it seems there are a lot of ways to get it cheaper now, ways nobody told us before the season of course...)
This really pisses me off, if this continues and the Mariners don't show much improvement, I probably won't renew my postscription.
Not to talk about the mlb.tv ads during the mlb.tv stream. Just stupid...
MLB.tv issues
First of all 1,2 kM stream doesnt work at all, although my internet connection should be able to handle it.
Second: With Silverlight 800 and 400 streams just looked the same (400 qual. of course) And Fullscreen mode gave me a tiny picture centered on top of the screen. Verticaly it uses ca. 2/3 of the space, verticaly ca 1/2...
So, I deinstalled Silverlight. 800 stream now has 800 quality but fullscreen still doesnt work. Now the tiny picture is completely centered though.
