HI All,

Im from the Central Coast in NSW, Australia (about 1hr north of Sydney)

I caught the Bronco bug the last year they won the superbowl (hopefully I can change that line soon) when I was snowboarding through Colorado (I have been back twice since cause I love the place) and have followed them avidly ever since.

I am a commercial construction contractor and apart from the Broncos & NFL, I like snowboarding, rugby league, rugby union, triathlon & cycling.

I am married to a lovely wife, that doesn't mind me stealing the TV remote when we get the Broncos replays down here.. Although she is still coming to terms with how a 60 minute game takes 3hrs+.. but she will learn..

Interesting article, certainly sounds like the offensive philosophy Josh was trying to install here inclusive of the requirement for quality secondary depth.

Mile High Report Ask McDaniels a Question...

I was just over on the Denver Broncos site and they have Coach McDaniels up this week for ask a question..

I thought this would be a great opportunity for MHR to put together some good football questions for him.

i.e confirmation and querys on the 5-2 defense etc, maybe Guru could submitt them for us if hes got the time.

If we could colate some really good questions instead of the MSM assumptions that abound about him, it would be quite educational and myth dispelling for the readers on other sites to get a better understanding of our coach.

I also would like to think that we could come up with better interview questions that the ones some of the paid MSM writers come up with at the post practice interview times..

Anyhow just a thought, he may not want to give to much away as well.

Cheers,

Scotto

Mile High Report Scottos Official - NFL Draft from Down Under

Hi All,

I thought I would try my own 1st round Mock for Draftivitis..

1)Detroit - Matthew Stafford

Detroit likes to play QBs whos first names are easy to spell.. I give you Charlie, Joey, Jon & Matt

(They are really unsure of Daunte.. they think he has just miss spelled Dan)

2)Rams - Jason Smith

Perfect situation for the Rams who need LT help with Pace gone

3) KC - Aaron Curry

Denver need a reason for Ryan Clady to bother warming up before a KC game

4) Seattle - Eugene Monroe

Seattle need someone to protect Matty Hasselbacks beaten up old body.

5) Cleveland - Michael Crabtree

Torn between Arakpo & Crabtree.. with Stallworths DUI & Edwards dropping so many passes Crabtree gets the nod.

6) Cincinnati - Brian Arakpo

 Lewis is DC at heart

7) Oakland - Andre Smith

Since when has character worried the Raiders? besides Cable is a O/line coach

8) Jacksonville - Jeremy Maclin

Jacksonville really need someone who can catch the ball.. not snort the 8 ball..

9) Green Bay - B.J Raji

As much as I hated to type that I recond GB beat us to Raji for their transition to 3-4

10) SF - Aaron Maybin

DE for SF

11) Buffalo - Brandon Pettigrew

Its true - they need a TE.. not sure of this high but..

12) Denver - Tyson Jackson

Oh you better be good buddy...

13) Washington - Robert Ayers

A DE now Jason Taylors gone, after having done.. not much..

14) New Orleans - Chris Wells

Big RB to fill the Duce McAlister departure - Could also be Malcolm Jenkins to fill the Mike McKenzie departure..

15) Houston - Malcolm Jenkins

Good CB help for Daunta Robinson.. especially if he still has the contractual s#*ts and holds out of training camp..

16) San Diego - Rey Maualua

They like their big angry Somoan LBs down their in SD

17) NY Jets - Mark Sanchez

New young QB in quite a presure market.. at least hes from a big college program..

18) Denver - Brian Cushing

I know, I know.. Knowshon (that wasn't a stutter)..is still on the board..  but I just can't see McD taking a RB after his big RB splurge in FA

19) Tampa Bay - Everette Brown

Quick local boy, it seems Tampa needs a upgrade at DE

20) Detroit - Michael Oher

OT to try to keep the new Matt from getting to much grass stains.. much to George Fosters disgust.. so he steals his bags..

21) Philadelphia - Knowshon Moreno

Good back up to Brian Westbrook - and eventual replacement.

22) Minnesota - Percy Harvin

WR to help Sage out

23) New England - Clay Mathews

Someone to groom now Vrabel is gone to KC

24) Atlanta - Jerry Peria

Seem abit thin at DT and Mike Smiths a ex-DC

25) Miami - James Laurinaitis

I figured WR or CB was a need but i figure old Bill loves LB's

26) Baltimore - Darrius Heyward-Bey

Derrick Masons got to be getting on abit

27) Indy - Hakeem Nicks

Gotta keep Peyton happy after releasing Marvin Harrison

28) Philadelphia - Ebon Britton

Andy Reid loves lineman

29) NY Giants - Donald Brown

RB to replace Ward

30) Tennessee - Larry English

DE to help Javon out who is cronically injury prone

31) Arizona - Vontae Davis

CB to replace Eric Green (this could also be Alphanso Smith or Darius Butler, I really have no idea whos better)

32)Pittsburgh - Max Unger

Apparently Pittsburgh is chasing OL depth...

Thats my ramble tell me what you think MHR

Cheers,

Scotto
