My favourite sport is reading. Love the 'Grand Tours' because above all, they are at worst, small narratives. Live by the ocean, cycle only for fun and I'm not good or brave, but as a sport it beats all but the ones that take place in the ocean.

Commented on Brabantse Pijl  LIVE on Apr 16 2014, 11:29a
Seriously um, it's all meaningless to me.
Commented on Brabantse Pijl  LIVE on Apr 16 2014, 11:26a
Flushed with success at his last lead out . My VDS would also prefer Gerro.
Commented on Brabantse Pijl  LIVE on Apr 16 2014, 11:25a
Hahabar is virtually the only feed I use.
Commented on Brabantse Pijl  LIVE on Apr 16 2014, 11:24a

Commented on Brabantse Pijl  LIVE on Apr 16 2014, 11:23a

15 minutes maybe...hoping madly for Gerro and Haas or even Matthews...three of my faves.

Looks like I should take back the collarbone thing back, although at least I didn't imagine he was injured.
Commented on FSA Directeur Sportif: Who Won the Cobbles? on Apr 15 2014, 9:30a - 1 reply
He also just broke his collarbone so he's out of action for now anyway.
Commented on FSA Directeur Sportif: Who Won the Cobbles? on Apr 15 2014, 9:27a
I didn't really even pick Sagan. Flatty did it for me. I miss him.
Commented on FSA Directeur Sportif: Who Won the Cobbles? on Apr 15 2014, 9:10a
I had Porte and Sagan...my only even mildly successful year.

Looks to me like more finished than usual.

Maybe he was just outside the time.
Commented on Terpstra Steals the Thunder in Roubaix on Apr 13 2014, 11:18a - 1 reply
I'll say. The other worriers i love are the ones who think that winning riders' celebrations aren't sufficiently enthusiastic :)

Aren't you missing Jessica's sarcasm?
Commented on Terpstra Steals the Thunder in Roubaix on Apr 13 2014, 11:03a
Now I want Cadel to be inspired. he may be small but I reckon he'd be great and he's not going to win any Gt's now I don't think.
Commented on Terpstra Steals the Thunder in Roubaix on Apr 13 2014, 11:02a - 1 reply
Ha! Now i'm happy. Mind you, we should always listen to what Fabian says.
Commented on Terpstra Steals the Thunder in Roubaix on Apr 13 2014, 11:01a
Is there a reason for the upper case that I'm missing?
Commented on Terpstra Steals the Thunder in Roubaix on Apr 13 2014, 10:59a - 1 reply
Especially given that Wiggo hasn't ridden P-R for about 5 (?) years?
Commented on Terpstra Steals the Thunder in Roubaix on Apr 13 2014, 10:58a - 2 replies
I don't think he's interested in TT's any more.
