NFL is doing some new rankings via Sando askng executives and other people.

He even managed to gap Wilson (was ranked ahead of him by 6 last year, now is 7 slots ahead).
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 29 2014, 12:43a
I cant believe ESPN's love for Luck. He's ranked ahead of Rivers and Wilson

It might as well be 11:30 here, because I'm about to fall asleep during the 3rd quarter... Waking up early has ruined my sleep schedule, I cant stay up late anymore
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 29 2014, 12:37a
9:30 luckily

We just don't understand each other very well do we? Two weeks in a row we both go over each other's heads when conversing... Maybe we'll get it one of these days.

Did they just call Gotham, "Gothic City" Brock I'm disappointed
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 29 2014, 12:31a
My thought is they don't want to give plays away. But it's not like it's a common play in the regular season too.
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 29 2014, 12:29a - 1 reply
So why don't more teams go for 2 in the pre-season?
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 29 2014, 12:24a - 1 reply
The 3rd stringers cant be worse than our 2nd stringers though, right??
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 29 2014, 12:21a
Sorry my past tense is in reference to previous arguments. I'm sure people are still saying it, but there were multiple games that I would say Russell won that TJack could not have won.
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 29 2014, 12:20a - 1 reply
Our depth is finally showing. We just need to cut all the 2nd stringers and sign the 3rd stringers!
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 29 2014, 12:19a - 2 replies
Well by always, I mean the 2 times I had a legit reason to say it.
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 29 2014, 12:17a
Looked like Pryor was trying to throw to the DB not Bates..
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 29 2014, 12:16a
It always works with my GF, bet it works on grown men too!
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 29 2014, 12:13a - 1 reply
Maybe all the ponies liked it? Or you have a lot of friends or whatever google+ calls conections?
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 29 2014, 12:12a
I think there were many games during Russell's rookie year that TJack couldn't have won, the New England game and the Bears game stand out in my mind.
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 29 2014, 12:11a
People would say that TJack could have led us to the playoffs during Russell's first season, and that Russell wasn't any good his first year.
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 29 2014, 12:10a - 1 reply
Because it's so bright and shiny you can't tell it is a poor performance?
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 29 2014, 12:08a
Nope just you. Probably the Google bias
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 29 2014, 12:08a - 1 reply
We say he upgraded our team, other people say the team upgraded and then added Russell when they try to detract from what Russell's done.
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 29 2014, 12:07a - 1 reply
nope, just enemabot and got some Futurerama thing.
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 29 2014, 12:06a - 1 reply
That's what the Luck supporters say every time when we bring teams into consideration
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 29 2014, 12:03a - 1 reply
And those naysayers said Wilson inherited a great team and wasn't much of an upgrade over TJack!
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 29 2014, 12:01a - 3 replies
Googled it, still don't know what that is (from Futurerama?)
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 29 2014, 12:00a - 1 reply
Well, most NFL games last around 3 hours too, so this is likely going to go well over the average. I wonder if this is foreshadowing for the regular season when throwing is becoming all the more common?
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 28 2014, 11:58p
What is that in the middle?
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 28 2014, 11:57p - 2 replies
Yeah, I might be missing the 4th quarter if this pace continues
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 28 2014, 11:56p
Too much scoring, almost a 2 hour first half...
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 28 2014, 11:56p - 1 reply
Are you sure it was only that much? I thought it was more
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 28 2014, 11:53p - 1 reply
I'm hoping for a trade
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 28 2014, 11:52p
I'd be pretty worried about Pryor in that case, he underthrew him!
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 28 2014, 11:51p
underthrown, but not too bad
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 28 2014, 11:49p
Almost short enough to fit everything into single GIF too!
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 28 2014, 11:45p
We've got our Rice replacement!
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 28 2014, 11:43p
No rules about swearing here! Just chat speak, which seems a little weird at times.
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 28 2014, 11:40p
Yeah, that's weird. If you sign up for an obstacle course, then you should do it! Probably people who didn't train or are worried about injury.
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 28 2014, 11:39p
Well I've already called out a couple people for GIFs, so I don't feel like being any more of a negative ned right now. I think things will be cleaner by next week otherwise we can start getting harsh.
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 28 2014, 11:37p
I think the casualness some people treat it with, plus the cost?
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 28 2014, 11:36p
Tough mudder is a large amount of money to swallow (but at least you get 10ish miles out of it and a unique experience, plus group discounts and free beer?).
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 28 2014, 11:35p - 1 reply
It's a game thread, rules are a little lax here (not that I think we should forget them completely though).
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 28 2014, 11:33p - 2 replies
We want more Miller time!
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 28 2014, 11:32p
medals for the top couple finishers for each sex/age group too I think? But not worth $50.
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 28 2014, 11:30p - 1 reply
I think if you are legitimately training for them, they aren't too bad. It's a lot easier to find a cheaper road race, or run a 5k time trial, than it is to run 26.2 miles quickly without others there to cheer you on.
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 28 2014, 11:30p - 1 reply
Commemorative seahawks finishing medals
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 28 2014, 11:27p - 1 reply
They used to have road race 5ks at Qwest, I would pay like $15 for those. Winning the super bowl means you can triple the price so you get a finishers medal that says something about the Seahawks? Obviously people have different priorities
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 28 2014, 11:24p - 1 reply
So that Seahawks 5k Moon was advertising, they want $50 as an early entrance price ($60 for the day of) and $25 for the kid's half mile race. Who is going to pay to do that?
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 28 2014, 11:22p - 3 replies
You mean cleats don't do much for dirt fields??
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread II on Aug 28 2014, 11:19p
No problem
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread I on Aug 28 2014, 11:16p
It's fine (I enjoy them too), my computer can handle it, but it's a rule for a reason I believe.
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread I on Aug 28 2014, 11:15p
Plus the fumble? Those are pretty fluky on returns (for the most part)
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread I on Aug 28 2014, 11:13p
I feel it wouldn't be fair if I didn't say something after mentioning it to Shermantheboogeyman, but can we try to reduce the GIFs for those who cant handle the long game threads + GIFs?
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread I on Aug 28 2014, 11:12p - 2 replies
Do they update the ratings during the season? He might need a downgrade after that return
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread I on Aug 28 2014, 11:10p
Though their first team offense looked actually alright against our first team defense, hopefully just a side effect of preseason planning and schemeing
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread I on Aug 28 2014, 11:09p - 1 reply
Might be one of those unspoken rules, but I think it's to help those who's browsers get overwhelmed by the large threads
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread I on Aug 28 2014, 11:05p - 1 reply
Would ice be a better surface than this terrible field?
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread I on Aug 28 2014, 11:04p
Hahaha
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread I on Aug 28 2014, 11:03p - 2 replies
I cant believe we are letting someone use Aaron Curry's old number, I mean he was a surefire pick, definitely a future ring of honor guy
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread I on Aug 28 2014, 11:02p
Needs practice reps maybe?
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread I on Aug 28 2014, 11:01p
No, because then they might score more?

No subject line. Auto ban?
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread I on Aug 28 2014, 10:58p
His brother did devote years to help him avoid mistakes he made, didn't he? I think he was the Russell Wilson of his draft too?
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread I on Aug 28 2014, 10:56p
His/her name should be JKTROLLING!!!!
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread I on Aug 28 2014, 10:56p - 3 replies
So Carr the steal of the draft?!
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread I on Aug 28 2014, 10:55p - 1 reply
Cowboys are likely going to have decent offense this year actually. I'm concerned for that person that thinks preseason is that important though.
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread I on Aug 28 2014, 10:54p
Wait he's being serious??
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread I on Aug 28 2014, 10:51p - 1 reply
Playing enough to keep their jobs, but not good enough to excel at their jobs, just the definition of "compete forever"
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread I on Aug 28 2014, 10:49p
They probably seared it out of their minds. They probably don't even remember it was Sherman that ended their season!
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread I on Aug 28 2014, 10:48p
Hah good point. Though you should have seen Oakland last year though, they thought Pryor was better than Kaep, Wilson, and Newton. So I think this comparison holds up for them?
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread I on Aug 28 2014, 10:47p - 1 reply
So think Oakland fans would be happy to see Pryor a la Edgerrin James? Or Boo/cheer him a la Favre?
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread I on Aug 28 2014, 10:45p - 1 reply
It's a breath of fresh air though, the whole "down by 10+ sky is falling" part of the game threads are just so annoying!
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread I on Aug 28 2014, 10:42p
Preseason reactions are so much better than regular season reactions. If this was the regular season you'd think all our computers were on fire and a nuke was headed towards the game if we were down by 14
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread I on Aug 28 2014, 10:40p - 1 reply
Our guys all took NyQuil in preparation for next week? Or are the Raiders better than we thought?

Tjack what are you thinking?? Looks like we phoned this game in...
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread I on Aug 28 2014, 10:36p
It's like a video game where someone dies and they drop items, except Turbin dropped a flag... He just loves to dance
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread I on Aug 28 2014, 10:36p
Looked like Turbin got tackled and a flag came out of him
Commented on Seahawks vs. Raiders: Open game thread I on Aug 28 2014, 10:34p - 1 reply
Looks like he's sucking down air too. Probably a little out of shape from not practicing for so long

Was that a response to me? Or to yourself? Thanks for the confirmation though
